No matter how we all feel about the performance and direction of this team moving forward, David Tepper likely gives all three one more season to prove we can get over the hump. You may not like it, but Dan got to choose his own coach and will be tied to him. Bryce, Dave, and Dan are likely all going to be tied to next seasons success, and they know it. Three years is more than enough to turn a team around. Expect them all to be gone if we are not in the playoffs next season, and Bryce Young will be under a lot more pressure and could be benched again if things are going like they have this season offensively. David Tepper signed Dave C. to a 6 year deal and will want to show the rest of the league he can be patient and give a coach time for someone to build a proper team….3 years is enough time to do that.

I’ve been saying this. Dave is supposed to be an “offensive” head coach when our offense absolutely sucks ass. After two full years I still don’t know what our offensive identity is. We are certainly not a running team (we want to be). The only thing we do well is the 0-5 yard passing game. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would focus and be happy if our qb had a game over 200 yards because it was so rare. Dave had ONE year of play calling and he wasn’t good that year!

Your wrong. Dave admitted in the press conference after the game that a fleaflicker was the call and that he stood by it because it would have worked if…..you know……it worked.
