  1. It’s funny that people still worry about the cap more than losing proven talent in critical positions. look at the talent we have had over the last 5 years. We try to compensate with draft picks that don’t work out, and FA signings above the amnesty value that don’t pan out either and we are stuck with garbage talent, no depth and middle of the road cap. You pay people like Icky. Young prevent talented LT’s don’t grow on trees.
  2. If I were a betting man, I would go all in on this prediction.
  3. This should probably be pinned. Just like every year, all hope is lost 4 games into the season. This will be ongoing, but we currently hold the number 8 overall pick. It is extremely likely that we will end up much higher, as I don’t see many winnable games unless we make a change to the burnt out red rocket.
  4. I guess the point of this thread was to question if Canales or Bryce are actual leaders of men. Say what you want about Ron, but no one questioned his ability to hold a locker room full of football players accountable. It’s a highly underrated quality of a head coach and a QB. Bryce sounds like a child when he speaks and Canales is a rah rah overly positive young coach. When you have a leader running the team, you don’t see performances like we have. Look at what Wilks did to the team, we quickly formed an identity, became a much more physical team, and challenged people on game day. Even though the results were mixed you could tell what type of team we were, and see improvements. It does not take that long to do like people claim.
  5. True. He backed it up though and proved he could lead a room full of grown men. I’m not sure Canales has that in him, or Bryce for that matter. You have to be able to motivate and lead the team, and I don’t see that trait in either Canales or Bryce.
  6. It’s wild that I now miss the days of being a middle of the road team every other season. I’m about to start wishing for an old school defensive minded head coach again, at least we would have an identity.
  7. lol he’ll naw. We need to roll the dice on Jon Gruden before we even think about Sanders (this is a joke of course….unless it’s not )
  8. Remember the statue drama from Tepper? He couldn’t wait to move on from the past and used the protest in 2020 as a reason to remove it https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jerry-richardson-statue-removal-allows-owner-david-tepper-to-turn-page-on-panthers-past/
  9. Google said 7 but it didn’t include this season. I went off what chat gpt said which included this season up to date. Either way, dude is complete ass
  10. We did Great trading for Baker and or Sam but couldn’t work with them. Imagine this team with either still playing a for us with that number 1 overall draft pick back, DJ back, etc.
  11. Thanks for the memories Bryce! You really Inspire a locker room of grown men with your timid voice and noodle arm.
  12. He has been quick to move on from coaches. He needs to do the same now with Bryce, and trade his ass for whatever pick we can get.
  13. 8 wins and 27 losses under his belt
  14. No way this guy inspires a locker room of grown men. On top of that he has physical limitations, and is showing no improvement at all. It’s over for him. I honestly wouldn’t even take him as a backup if I’m a GM. We are only giving him a chance at this point because of what was invested in picking him, If we didn’t spend all of the draft picks, he would have been benched for good by now, and would never see the field again.
  15. Being this far behind, you would expect padded stats due to prevent defense. This is Young’s numbers with 9 minutes in the 4th quarter, down 42-6 Bryce Young#9 TEAM C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS RTG 18/30 150 5.0 1 0 1-11 84.0 18/30 139 5.0 1 0 1-11 84.0
