  1. Wow I thought Kelly was a shoe-in for the Raiders’ job. He got high marks for his interview here. I wonder if he’s still in consideration?
  2. https://www.panthers.com/news/derrick-brown-named-to-the-2024-pro-bowl-at-defensive-tackle
  3. You read my mind. I got this vibe during the GB pregame lovefest from the Fox commentators. Feels like one of those Vegas upsets.
  4. If that’s true, I’ll be taking an indefinite leave of absence from Panthers’ football. That would be the most questionable decision we could make with all the more qualified candidates out there.
  5. Not the kid’s fault. Can’t blame him for being the obvious incompetence of our front office. This is all on Tepper and our ex GM.
  6. Good write up on McClay. I like the part about him being a “Unifier” - we could sure use that. https://www.si.com/nfl/cowboys/news/dallas-cowboys-breaking-will-mcclay-gets-gm-job-interview-request-from-washington-commanders-carolina-jerry-jones-dan-quinn
  7. This missed a great opportunity to reset the direction of this franchise when Rhule was hired (and during COVID). But I regress. Can only hope Dave will get it right this time.
  8. Hate this for Scott because he appears to be a good guy and well liked within the organization. But it’s beyond obvious a new direction is needed and we can only hope Tepper will get finally get this right.
  9. Agree we need a culture change but you can l’t tell me everyone needs to go. Derrick Brown with over 100 tackles this season, Chuba Hubbard running hard, Luvu and Horn balling out - we definitely have some core players to build with.
  10. Yup that sack was on Bryce. Going for the long ball when all we needed was 4 yds
  11. Sad indeed. Didn’t know he was still in the League. Should’ve retired years ago.
  12. Except this year. Todd Walsh is a renowned DL coach and well respected around the league. No doubt he’s played a role in Brown’s stellar performance this year. We definitely need to lock him down financially. Same for Luvu.
  13. You know I’ve actually thought about that also. It would probably be a tough sell for Staley though.
  14. It’s Joe Horriz from the Ravens for me. We need a change of culture in the worse way and the Ravens have been perennial winners. Ray Agnew makes sense if Tepper is truly sold on Ben Johnson - his connections with Evero and Brown makes the transition easier though I’m not sure Brown sticks around after this disastrous season. Ian Cunningham is at least worth consideration based on his background.
  15. Can’t get any more depressing knowing the Bears suckered us out of our best offensive player (DJ Moore - 9/159 yds/TD today) and the #1 overall pick in next year’s draft for a QB we can’t protect or provide any help for.
  16. This is some of the worse blocking I’ve ever seen. Matadors block better. Josh Allen literally beat Ickey and Mays for that sack
  17. Nope…that would be Derrick Brown. Pay him! Then find money for Luvu b/c he’s our 2nd best defensive player.
  18. Brown wasn’t the ONLY one who played with pride but he definitely balled out. Luvu and Horn made some big plays also. Overall our D played well but their efforts were wasted by an inept offense and bad ST play.
