  1. I respectfully disagree. I remember him accompanying one of the former players during a press conference on prison reform when he first got here. The numerous charities and causes he’s supported probably wouldn’t happen if he was a racist. Maybe I’ve missed something but What I’ve seen and read speaks otherwise.
  2. Flores won’t be unemployed long. If the Giants ditch the Judge, you can expect he’ll be on the short list of names as a replacement.
  3. Probably not the only reason but a factor I’m sure. Seen this play out too often to think otherwise.
  4. This is about money plain and simple. Giving up on a HC that’s after two years on a seven year contract is an expensive mistake. Better to give him another year on the condition of changes to the offensive staff and better FA’s. Not that I completely agree but that’s my take on why Rhule will likely survive Black Monday.
  5. Kenny Robinson has shown himself more than capable at FS. He deserves a full season as a starter IMO. Drafting a safety in the top ten makes no sense for us with the dire needs at IOL, QB and MLB.
  6. Don’t see us taking Willis over Howell. The Steelers are rumored to be interested in Howell and if that’s the case, I’m hoping we can facilitate a trade with them for extra picks this year and next, which we could ideally use to shore up IOL and MLB. We can focus on QB next year after we rebuild the rest of the roster. JMO
  7. I agree. Outside of Reddick and Luvu (and only if we can afford them), I can’t see any of them coming back. We need to commit to a full rebuild if we’re ever going to have a consistently winning team.
  8. Another major issue has to be coaching. The lack of talent and development of good lineman has been really frustrating for years now.
  9. You’re right bugs. The man truly loved the “hogmollies”. My bad! Hurney couldn’t evaluate OL if his life depended on it. His best choice on OL was Otah and he wasn’t in the league too long.
  10. Agreed…whenever he’s in the lineup
  11. the nail on the head with this statement. Hurney and Gettleman’s overall failures to replenish talent on the OL is the biggest reason for the crapshow we’re witnessing now.
  12. I’m hoping DJ chooses greener pastures this offseason. His career is going nowhere fast here in Carolina. Our QB situation will not be resolved anytime soon and it’s going to take awhile to fix this OL.
  13. This offense makes “3 yards and a cloud of dust” look innovative.
  14. We don’t want a sorry team either. What’s gotten into these guys? First, Derrick Brown and now Anderson
  15. Yeah good point. Of course, Rhule has made a number of complimentary statements about players that didn’t quite translate to success on the field this season.
  16. Angelichio came from GB where their TE production has mostly been solid at least. The issues at TE are more about the lack of talent outside Tremble and the offensive scheme and personnel in general IMO. Foley has a good reputation with ST and I’m sure it can’t get much worse than it is now. Outside of the defense, there needs to be major changes regardless.
  17. I’d be okay with Sporano but not sure about Gilbride and Foley. We certainly could use new blood at those position posts.
  18. I can’t see anyone else fired with 2 games left but I agree. Meyer should be the 1st among this group to go the minute the clock runs out on this dismal season.
  19. That’s always a possibility with this team. I just can’t see us winning another game with this anemic offense.
  20. I swear we’re the Keystone Cops of pro football. Can’t get out of our own way.
  21. We were sputtering and left on the side of the road…. then ISH happened! Great win for Hornets to end the road trip.
  22. Should’ve done the same. Embarrassing is an understatement.
