    I agree. Outside of Reddick and Luvu (and only if we can afford them), I can’t see any of them coming back. We need to commit to a full rebuild if we’re ever going to have a consistently winning team.

    Another major issue has to be coaching. The lack of talent and development of good lineman has been really frustrating for years now.

    You’re right bugs. The man truly loved the “hogmollies”. My bad! Hurney couldn’t evaluate OL if his life depended on it. His best choice on OL was Otah and he wasn’t in the league too long.

    the nail on the head with this statement. Hurney and Gettleman’s overall failures to replenish talent on the OL is the biggest reason for the crapshow we’re witnessing now.

    I’m hoping DJ chooses greener pastures this offseason. His career is going nowhere fast here in Carolina. Our QB situation will not be resolved anytime soon and it’s going to take awhile to fix this OL.

    Yeah good point. Of course, Rhule has made a number of complimentary statements about players that didn’t quite translate to success on the field this season.

    Angelichio came from GB where their TE production has mostly been solid at least. The issues at TE are more about the lack of talent outside Tremble and the offensive scheme and personnel in general IMO. Foley has a good reputation with ST and I’m sure it can’t get much worse than it is now. Outside of the defense, there needs to be major changes regardless.

    I’d be okay with Sporano but not sure about Gilbride and Foley. We certainly could use new blood at those position posts.

    I can’t see anyone else fired with 2 games left but I agree. Meyer should be the 1st among this group to go the minute the clock runs out on this dismal season.

    That’s always a possibility with this team. I just can’t see us winning another game with this anemic offense.

    Hard to believe our offense is this inept. And Rhule looks like he’s just hanging out on the sidelines - completely disengaged.

    This I get the logic behind their decision but picking up that 5th year option is a real head scratcher.

    Passing up points for failed 4th down attempts eventually cost the Bolts in the end. That and the Chiefs total dismantling of their secondary.

    I’ve read here that Chinn is a FS. If that’s true, that’s definitely wrong. He’s better as an in-the-box SS that can play a hybrid LB role and blitz. Coverage is not his strong suit.

    I’d say all of the above. But poor LB/second level play is a bigger factor that many think. LB is definitely an area of concern that needs to addressed this off-season, especially MLB.
