There definitely are. The problem being the talent of QBs this year. Titans and Giants are for sure looking in the draft. Raiders likely too, plus the Browns and Jets could be looking or their eventual replacement of their troubled starters beyond 2025 while sitting the rookie a year. A dark horse could be the Steelers. Like I've said before, this is a bad year to be needing a franchise QB. A backup? Sure, there's some decent candidates out there.

Has to be generational and Starks is not. Top 10 you take players that help make (QB, WR, OT) or break (Edge, CB) games. All other non-STs positions have to be close to, if not generational, for consideration.

A ball hawking safety; not an in-the-box safety. Great hands, but not overly aggressive given chase and definitely doesn't pop when tackling. He strikes me as corner.

ESPN is reporting the Bears are asking to interview McCarthy. I guess his contract hasn't quite expired yet.

If he kills it in the offseason workouts he will be. Remember, this dude came up just a few yards short of breaking Berry Sanders record.

They have to declare by what, the 15th? If PSU makes it to the championship game, he's going to run out of time. Fingers crossed they do. That would make the 2026 QB class that much more loaded.

That's my guy too among the top 3 Edge players.

I'm leary of Pearce. I've seen several comps to Brian Burns. A wiry edge guy, but a liability in the run game. Sacks numbers will get him drafted higher than he probably should go. A one-dimensional guy.

I know how to mock my front 7 now staying with the 3-4 scheme.

Including Jeanty?

Remember Zavala was injured most of last season (more injured than not) and we as fans gave him sh*t for bad play when dude was trying to muscle through the trials of playing banged up as a rookie and playing both guard positions. He was set up for failure.

I called having the OL grading out tops along with Bryce. As the OL goes, so does Young. The big nasties had about a clean of a sheet as I can remember in a VERY long time. I'm sure the other guard is #6.

That's what we got with Evero. Remember, he was the hot name when we got him? Offense is ever evolving, but defense is limited in it's innovation. In that regard, I don't mind a retread for DC.

Especially if we move back to a 4-3.

It's not. It's not going to the the 2024 class either, but pretty darn good. If nothing else, plenty deep.

Welp, Darnold let us down again. Let's see goes just ahead of us at #7.

That's crazy. Not only did he screw up royally on several players, it was on public display on Hard Knocks. I didn't watch it, but from what was said is people knew he was making some really bad errors...you know, just regular viewing audience. That's bad when TV goers were questioning his moves. Ultimately, those costly mistake manifested in a train wreck of a season for the Giants.

Even the GM? Indications from sports talking heads was even if the coaching staff stayed the GM certainly was going to be fired.

You know how bad of a funk this franchise has been in the last several years when the fan base has been rewired to think 5 wins is a beacon for optimism. We aren't the worst team anymore, break out the bubbly!!! At this rate we might make the playoffs in 2027 after a decade of futility. Thanks Tepper, you're the best!

If I crunched my numbers correctly a Vikings win will bump the Jets SOS to.505. Interestingly, that would be a tie with the Saints. Not sure how that works, what the next tie break would be. Edit: Divisional and conference schedules.

I'm taking Ward over Sanders every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Sanders will be a boom or bust prospect---20% boom and 80% bust.
