Baker isnt even as good as Cousins or Carr, he is a bottom tier starter. Pretty much a Wentz/Jimmy G type guy, but more reckless with the ball.

I dont believe that for a second. The way Tepper was fawning over him the entire contract would have been guaranteed. What kept him from Charlotte is what Tepper has allowed us to become since he purchased the team.

It is true, that coach might fug around and win one season and go back to being poo, if they dont win in the first 2 seasons, they are not going to win consistently.

No one said extend Cam, but dont sign fugging Teddy and damn sure dont trade for Darnold. We had Grier on the roster, he could have QB'd us to #1-3 pick and we could have gotten a QB. Tepper and Rhule were listening to Marty and his one guy away bullshit, it all started with Tepper firing Ron and keeping Marty.

No they were not, nothing has looked good since they cut Cam to sign Teddy to a 63m contract. We should have just sucked our way to a high enough pick to get a real QB. Stafford is besides the point, what would our record be with him last year? 6-11, 7-10? We were not winning the super bowl like the rams. Stafford never did anything in Detroit, it would have been the same here.

Maybe all the kids should have been fired and a real coaching staff put into place. Then we could attract real NFL players. It is amazing how these other teams keep making the playoffs and when they dont win the superbowl they add more pieces. When we went 15-1 our staff thought it was a good idea to begin stripping our team the next year instead of adding guys to get back to the super bowl.
