I was just thinking about this yesterday. Yes all the new rules benefit passing so that took a huge leap forward initially, but now defenses have adapted by going smaller and faster and passing numbers are way down. We’re shifting back to control to LOS and pound the rock and then setup play action. Our team is built well for this which is why I feel if Dave and Dan are both the real deal we will be competitive in the division by next year. #RTGDF

I feel the opposite. This is conspiracy time, but I feel there’s an argument to be made that if we are going long term (2026) Dan Morgan is playing the absolute long game, shore up the OL year 1, draft a first round WR, get Archie’s college teammate at RB and TE. In 2025 If he drafts a sure fire WR in round 1 or grabs Isiah Bond in R2, then I’ll really start believing it. All that being said, i don’t think that’s what’s happening

Some of this stuff is factually incorrect like the cap next year, but regardless I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. If you want to blame him instead of Fitt, that’s fair but I’m taking the other approach as it seems he is trying to rip the bandaid off and fix the Fitt junk this season by taking it head on. I liked what he did this offseason

I don’t know what to say here. Chubba is a great dude and tries hard but he just doesn’t have the talent to be a #1 back. This concept that RBs are a dime a dozen has some truth but is also way overblown. You still need dudes back there. RB is a huge issue for this team. Way below whatever Bryce was doing Sunday but still a big issue

I think one thing going for us is there’s no sure thing #1 QB this year. I could be remembering incorrectly but I think Bryce was pretty much the clear cut #1 going into his last year at Alabama and never let that go. All teams had him #1 it wasn’t just us. this year, besides the media trying to push Sanders, there really is no clear cut. It’s all a crapshoot anyway, just take one and let’s roll
