  1. Not when your average is 6 wins for the past four years all while starting the season with decent records. But in the end it’s not about the first four games rather than the past 4 years, you need to win in general to change a culture.
  2. This isn’t Cleveland where losing is a novelty. Give Panther fans a reason to spend money and go out to the stadium instead of watching on TV. Losing to a 1-3 Eagles isn’t going to do it.
  3. As I said when it happened Paradis should’ve never been signed for top 5/10 pay. Luckily this should be his last year. As for why more hasn’t been done besides BC…not sure.
  4. Possibly but QBs don’t exactly grow on trees. Look at options last year…Fields, Wilson (trade up)? what was the choice? Stafford would’ve been great but he didn’t want to play. It’s not like we are not seizing opportunities. Sam will do for now.
  5. Yea you do. One game out of 17. Defense is built and has experience. You get to pick and choose with all teh FAs brought in. Fit isn’t scared to make moves. Compare holes from past to now. We have oline, LB, and safety. Maybe QB depending but we had then we cam became flaccid anyways.
  6. People forget this is still good, tending upward, and in line with Rhule’s rebuild. These records are a good thing. The Panthers average like 6 wins the pst four year lol. Need more time.
  7. At least BC is a rookie and can grow, we’ve been seeing the ceiling's of the trash they put out there thus far. They are forced to address the interior next year with Paradis gone. Unless he somehow gets resigned in which case kill me now.
  8. Sam, the below average QB, has most rushing TDs of any qb in the league and most in history after 4 games lol Stop telling on yourself. Sam is clearly average at worst. It’s a matter if he can improve.
  9. Meh, I am willing to give him next year. That will be the tell all. Especially if the Panthers feel like after 8 years it may be time to seriously look at the LT position. Paradis will be gone so they’ll be forced to look at C.
  10. he didn’t have to with cmc, but should’ve known 39 carries a game or whatever wasn’t going to last for what he is (very young and inexperienced) I think he is doing well, but I expected a bit more creativity…may come in time
  11. might want to notify all the PJ Walker fans wanting to trade a first for him last offseason
  12. Aren’t we always winning at half time? I don’t think we scored any points in qtr 3 …of 4 games.
  13. Lol please dear god get Daley and Miller off the fuging field. Paradis too. fug Erving and Elflein too…wait they’re in injured n/m
  14. Unfortunately, measurable things like pressure, hurries, sacks and time to throw make you sound really fuging stupid.
  15. The line is missing about 6 players including backups. 1 draft may be able to fix one. And let’s be real, Rhule ran the draft before it and said fug the line. Nah, could’ve done better.
  16. It’s a shame the oline will not allow a 25 yard pass. Same instantly side stepped two people and had another coming straight on for the Robby throw. But yea, Marshal was on him 100%.
  17. Hubbard won’t last if he doesn’t learn to catch.
  18. I agree on RT…but guard…meh. Maybe if his short arms are an issue but he’s athletic. Corse all we really have is college film vs poo teams to go by. But BYU oline program is top of the line.
  19. Not for 20m. That’s elite and consistent elite money (Luke, Wagner). Yea not his fault and all. But still need to be considered since they’ll have to do something about it unless you want to put basically all of the money that should be for the entire LB positions in one player who can’t do it on his own (like elites can) and continue to surround him with garbage, in an already thin position.
  20. All I know if there is only one QB to go to a super bowl with a 20+ ranked oline and that was P Manning. Wilson doesn’t make the Panthers a instant super bowl contender unless that is fixed. It’s basically impossible. Forget metrics then, the eye test should clearly tell you there is no way in hell this oline can get any team, any qb, to a super bowl. Seems you’re confident to say Wilson makes the Panthers and instant super bowl contender based on the fact the oline will be fixed at least to a point. All I have to say is I’ll believe it when I see it. I see attempts and failure at this point. Very concerning, more so, then just ignoring it. New regimen, we will see…but again even in two years, one starter quality olineman seems a bit behind to me.
  21. Which will be about the 3rd time a line below average, and mostly top 10 has gone to the super bowl in 30 years. So not only will bringing Wilson in bump the oline up 7+ spots, but the Panthers will also become that 4th team in history to do it? With Rhule in his instead of Carrol/Couglin? That’s what you meant? For me that’s a little far fetched…
  22. Sam isn’t perfect but there is only one part of Darnold’s game that consistently holds him back, his deep ball placement. Or maybe it’s like 15/20+ yard passes. He has missed quite a few. Part of that is due to the oline of course but Sam has to get better at that. I’d add reading the field/decision making as well but I think that’ll get better with time and again, an oline. I think Sam does so bad when he has time because it’s unexpected. When he can see pressure and where it’s coming from he does better. This is a lopsided mentality but understandable after 3+ years of playing behind of of the worst in the league. Which will seem to continue. I think all this can get better but his long ball concerns me most. Time will tell.
