  1. You have to play the draft class that you are given. A top 10 pick in this class isn't equal to a top 10 pick in another class. A draft pick is only as valuable as the guys available to be picked. That's why I wouldn't be upset if we gave up this year's 8 pick for Garrett.
  2. Lamelo is the most talented Hornet ever in my opinion. But I agree that basically everything else sucks and makes it impossible to win with him. I'm not sure how highly GM's think of him around the league. He was 1st in fan voting for the ASG and didn't make it.
  3. Stacking YouTube TV and FanDuel is not cheap. And it's ridiculous that doesn't cover all the games. I have to draw the line somewhere or I'll have 500 dollars a month in subscriptions.
  4. Don’t have that either. Fan Duel is pricey enough. At least I didn’t miss a good one.
  5. I can only get the game on ESPN+ and I’m not subscribing. That’s lame.
  6. The odds that Garrett Wilson is at least as good as DJ Moore are a lot better than the odds that TMac is. That’s just the reality of the situation. It doesn’t mean that’s how it will turn out. But I don’t need 10,000 words to make a simple observation. It’s the mystery box phenomenon. You’re a huge fan of the guy. That’s cool. But it’s gotten to a level that makes the Tarheel fans look unbiased.
  7. Alright never mind. After that 10,000 word essay I believe you.
  8. Most people would use a top 10 pick on a receiver with those numbers and have no problem paying them. But giving a pick to another team to get that player? Unreasonable.
  9. Right but he's not a UFA until 2027 since this is the last year of his deal, and then in 2026 they have the 5th year option. He may not want to be stuck on the Jets for 2 more years. Plus a lot can happen in 2 years. Look at what Diontae Johnson did in less than 1. A trade and extension agreement fixes both of those problems.
  10. Coker is our best WR prospect, but we're talking about a #1 receiver that defenses plan around. Coker might develop into that, but he might be a WR2-3 his entire career. I don't understand turning our noses up at elite players because we have rose tinted glasses about our own guys.
  11. On the other hand, getting a proven star player for a pick is probably a worthwhile trade for a front office that can't seem to hit on any picks.
  12. One too many passes on the rush is so frustrating to watch lol
  13. Shoot the puck E Rob. Come on man.
  14. I want an impact player. Defensive tackle, edge, WR, TE, whatever. We could literally use almost anything. I'm honestly just baffled by opinion that we're basically good at WR and TE because we have the best prospects in the NFL. The players we have could develop into above average players, or even stars. But I'm not passing on a top tier prospect because of anybody on this roster.
  15. I don't like going TE this high, but JT didn't show much to me last year. He looked straight up lost out there often. Ranked 37 out of 37 TE's last year on PFF for what that's worth. I don't know how some of you see anything through that much rose tint.
  16. It feels like this is a huge problem, but I think it's because it's mostly on the power play. I was curious so I started checking stats vs the rest of the NHL. The Canes are actually 3rd in the league in shots on goal, and give up the 2nd fewest shots on their own goal. The power play is easily the Canes worst team stat right now. They rank 21st in the league with 20.13%
  17. A bit early to declare Necas a 100 pt player in Colorado? He's got 5 points in 5 games. I don't think Rod is the problem.
