  1. I posted it but apparently we’re all ignoring that to fantasize about the trade to Carolina happening.
  2. Sounds like be wants to be on a contender. We might be a tough sell.
  3. Yea that’s elite athletic genetics. Maybe a bit short but a vertical jump around 40 indicates he is a freak.
  4. Dang I retract my statement. That’s a god tier vertical lol
  5. He’s obviously got a big motor and a play style that is popular with fans. But all the heart in the world won’t make you an NFL level athlete. That’s my primary concern with him. That regardless of the dog in him, he’s just not an NFL athlete at one of the most athletic positions.
  6. That last offsides call on the empty net rush was bull hockey
  7. Slayton is a replacement level receiver. If we give him the big bucks, I’ll lose a lot of faith in the FO.
  8. He needs to put on 20 lbs and lose 2 inches of height. Then he’d be an ideal bowling ball specimen.
  9. Exactly. This is no different than helmet scouting. You’re drafting a player, not the history of a position at a draft slot.
  10. I bet they target certain defensive positions in FA so they can be more flexible in the draft.
  11. The simple answer is having someone competent instead of David Newton
  12. You're probably right, but I think what Hunter has on top of athleticism is football instincts. And that's not something that shows off in the underwear games.
  13. Yea I’d rather just draft a dude with a late pick than trade for a guy we know sucks.
  14. Man that was awful. Completely killed my NBA fandom in a way that will never recover. I loved that Hornets team. The Bobcats were the worst possible replacement.
  15. Canales and company have their work cut out for them as is. Don’t need someone who’s going to bring trouble into the locker room.
  16. A lot of huddlers would rather reach on an edge that would go late 1st or early 2nd in a normal draft class, instead of taking the biggest impact player that falls to 8. Would I normally draft a TE at 8? Of course not. But this isn't a normal situation. The top of this class is not only thin, but relatively weak.
  17. Yea the current mix of guys is just not working.
  18. He’s good at getting open vs zone, which is what a TE needs to be able to do.
