  1. therein lies the rub, the panthers are not a team that can sit a player for a year, our roster isnt anywhere close to that
  2. Its a 6 winish season, hes not going to be 100% for a while, should have just got a center or pass rusher or whatever and drafted a rb next year
  3. we needed a center, we could have had a top prospect this is going to be a poo year by all accounts its a 4 year deal and we are punting on year 1 since its a poo year and he will not be 100% until maybe later in the season. Maybe. On the whole, running backs are a dime a dozen and I pray to baby Jesus this team has learned its lesson about big running back contracts and 2nd contracts in general in regards to the rb position. We were told he would be good to go for July now thats not the case.
  4. maybe, but he went to a bad situation and the constant rotation of OC's didnt help matters. Going to be interesting watching him in pitt. But if I recall most people thought coming into that draft that fields needed to sit and learn the nfl game. Who knows how that would have affected him instead of being thrust into a poo offense week 6 or whenever it was they made him the starter. His skill set is off the charts
  5. I still would like to see a world where we kept teddy, drafted Fields and sat him his entire rookie year to learn.
  6. Going back to when Rhule was hired every major decision that this franchise has made has been the absolute wrong choice. I cant think of one where I was like "poo yeah, that makes sense". Maybe drafting Brown but even then we should have been focusing on building up our oline instead. I mean signing teddy, cutting cam, cutting teddy, darnold etc, the list is long and full of bone headed uber costly mistakes. For like the 1000 time not trading burns has to be an all time moronic nfl decision. I mean that was colossally stupid. And of course Bryce/Stroud
  7. 2 thoughts on this. 1. this is week 16 and he should know by now you have to step up when the pocket is that large or 2. Slightly defending him here, again its week 16 in a poo season and maybe he is just thinking I just dont want to get hit any more and just need to get this season over before something bad happens Going off the last 2 weeks of the season I am going with #2
  8. An injury here an injury there and this defense could be the leagues worst
  9. ::shakemyhead: at this wtf is our media team doing? douchechills
  10. everything was a red flag and a bulk of posters on here were screaming it at the time but lo and behold bryce has good manners at a steakhouse
  11. Fwiw as well saban said young had some mental health counseling
  12. Still not sure why we just didnt run it back with him for the 2023 season to see what we had. I mean damn you already invested draft picks in him might as well let him play
  13. Fair, sure. Still not worthy of the #1 pick and still has major issues. And you absolutely have to be concerned that for bryce to make a nfl caliber throw the conditions have to be optimal around him. And those sacks around the 10 minute mark are just brutal to watch.
  14. everyone has their opinion for sure but I strongly disagree with this for so many reasons, we are not a talented team at all and if we are looking down the road to next year and beyond it gets even uglier considering this is shaq, dj, theilen, probably moton last year. we have absolutely no depth anywhere on the roster and cobble that with a qb going into the season playing for his job its a dismal state of affairs
  15. Who knows what would have happened in 03 if Kasey didn't choke on the kick off
  16. 2015. The offense was "heres the ball cam , good luck"
