  1. From your keyboard to Gods ear This is the only way. If rhule is smart (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL) He would figure out a way to cater the offense to a rookie corral and he showed promise and won some games he shouldnt then rhule could lean on that to get more time. Throwing baker, jimmy, sam or whoever out there and only winning 6-7 games is a sure fire way to get canned
  2. CMC literally had a record breaking year a couple of seasons ago and we won 5 games. Running backs do not matter a bit in todays modern NFL.
  3. So I am not a big high school recruiting guy but I followed this story last week. I went to youtube and watched his highlights and could someone please tell me what I am missing here? The bulk of his plays just looks like he either is A)one of the biggest kids on the field and steps away from pressure to sling the ball or B)Just throws it 50 yards downfield to his wideout that is faster then the corner. Not denying he has a strong arm and isnt big and fast but the #1 overall player that people are going nuts for? I dont get it but then again I dont really follow hs recruiting.
  4. https://dailycaller.com/2022/06/27/report-seahawks-browns-nearing-baker-mayfield-trade/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Is this a new report or is this just the same one regurgitated?
  5. ^ I would have been content with Teddy starting year 2 with Fields taking a redshirt season on the bench.
  6. This should have been the plan 2-3 seasons ago.
  7. Carolina is a better situation then jax?
  8. Indy is better then charlotte?
  9. Yeah we will know mid sept. The first four games are crucial and after that the schedule gets really hard. If we dont go at least 2-2 then we are in for a (another) long ass year
  10. Id kill to have either CJ stroud or Justin fields on this team
  11. I dont think what Richardson did was enough to force him to sell the team.
  12. yep, the dude doesnt love football and was contemplating retirement and then we swooped in. The observer article posted is just trying to sugarcoat things talking about how quiet he is etc. Maybe he works out but the odds are not in his favor
  13. Sigh. Not at your CmC2k just at this line of thinking, which is not wrong. Rhule is coaching for his job and seemingly will do something rash to save it. Whether its trade for baker for a year or give a nice big contract to jimmy g. He should however be telling mcadoo to be creating an offense that corral can jump into week one and build from there. The easiest way for rhule to keep his job is to show corral can win some games and be an nfl qb. That buys him time. Throwing more poo at the wall at qb is a sure fire way to get canned
  14. If we were a smart franchise we would be creating an offense around Corral to go from day 1. Start small and work him into a larger part as the season goes on. This would A) create a bit of much needed fan excitement B) will show us if corral has even the slightest ability to be a NFL qb and C) would give Rhule some breathing room if corral does show promise and they win a few games they shouldnt with him. But yeah you probably stopped reading at "If we were a smart franchise........." Giving up capital for a 1 year baker rental may be one of the dumbest things this team has done in a while.
