  1. The greats usually know how to avoid taking major hits (Brady/Manning) while the athletically gifted typically try to enforce their imposing ways on the defense (Newton, Jackson) I suspect that Young is going to learn to slide very quickly and know when to throw it away and live for another play
  2. look at how the game is evolving. It is turning into a shotgun heavy league. In scenarios like that it’s no longer about the prototypical Drew Bledsoe sized QB, it’s about who’s processing the play and reading the field fastest. hence why the coaching staff and scouts were always sold on Young, the Chef Curry of QBs in College. I started to come around to Young as I started researching how the game is evolving, it’s not about where the NFL offense is today, where’s it going to be in 5 years https://www.the33rdteam.com/category/analysis/nfl-teams-moving-out-from-under-cenet-riding-shotgunnfl-teams-riding-shotgun/
  3. We don’t beat the Eagles without one of the best 1 yard runs in NFL history he also happened to BALL OUT in the Super Bowl
  4. Second Round pick Bruce Nelson Hips of an 80 year old osteoporosis person
  5. There’s no 2003 Super Bowl without Ricky Manning Jr
  6. this guy makes Anthony Street Clothes Davis from the Lakers look like a healthy and reliable NBA player
  7. This kid is spitting 100% Facts these tests are dumb widgets there’s no test for 6’2 there’s no test for arm strength the tape doesn’t lie. He was processing just fine as he was cooking the Georgia Bulldogs
  8. The pick has been leaked… no need to draw swords of who anymore, we get to sit back and enjoy tomorrow. Debate is over
  9. Whether you are on the Bryce Young train, the CJ Stroud train or the anyone else train, today is a day to take it all in and rejoice. We've had an incredible offseason so far (on paper of course) and re-signed KEY players from even leaving the franchise (Bozeman) We traded up to get the #1 pick, a sign that this team is tired of mediocrity We got rid of one of the worst head coaches this league has ever seen and brought in a top to bottom all star coaching staff, while early it is likely the best damn coaching staff this organization has ever had We have cap space We have an owner who takes offense that he is only the second wealthiest owner in the league and not the wealthiest, the man knows how to stroke a check to match his ego, I like the curmudgeon Let's come together and enjoy the moment
  10. are the Panthers about to do something of epic stupidity and draft Will Weirdo Levis
  11. I know CJ gets flack for the contract at the time but the man was a damn bull!!! Takes some serious strength to do that to a man bigger than you
  12. Does Bryce also come with a magic rabbit foot to pull miracle passes out of his ass like Wilson does
  13. You think Ryan Vermillon started dealing drugs only in Washington?!? This guy was a clown and responsible for the health and safety of the players. https://www.hogshaven.com/platform/amp/2022/8/19/23313004/ryan-vermillion-deferred-prosecution-agreement-high-profile-dea-raid-washington-facilities-last-year
  14. ‘When the next level comes I was already there’ damn I miss this dude and you’re right, the team needs this kind of mental enforcer
  15. Given the recent ankle issue and the upcoming MASSIVE contract he will be getting either this year or the next, where do you rank Burns as Panthers all time DEs. Me personally, I like Burns, I think he is very good, I don't view him as ELITE. He can go MIA easily for 2-3 games (see Tampa finale last year) where the ELITE ones show up week in and week out 1) Peppers- undeniably the best DE in franchise history 2) Rucker- great pass rusher, solid against the run 3) Johnson- yes he was BIG MONEY but the guy was a wall against the run and could bullrush to the QB 4) Hardy- yes he was a fruit basket but when the switch was on and it was GO time, the guy wreaked havoc and could take over a game 5) Burns- finesse pass rusher, Von Miller'esque but without the overwhelming strength to get to the QB, relies on speed. Not very good against the run, a very good OT can basically take him out of the game
  16. The Panthers medical staff isn't regarded as the most competent
  17. This will come off sexist / misogynistic but in the past I’d enjoy enjoy Linda Cohn or Suzy Kolber sprinkled in with actual knowledge of the subject. Somehow that transformed to having a bunch of airheads now on every show who while look amazing are basically talking airheads
