  1. Mcconkey or Roman Wilson, also probably Pearsall
  2. RAS was definitely Rhule not Fitterer. I at least preferred that over Fitterer whos strategy was drafting old players that were still somehow "raw" that interviewed well and werent very athletic.
  3. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are both 5'10 180lbs. The days of having to be 6'4 225 to be an outside receiver are pretty much over. Especially if you have someone who can run a competent scheme on offense.
  4. I think youre wrong on Ladd. Im not saying hes going to be a 4.3 guy but i think hes going to be faster than you think. Also if your goal is to get the ball out in 2.7 seconds every time then I will take quick over fast every time. All that said I think Ladd will have a fairly uncommon combination of speed and quickness.
  5. This is a great draft to need a wr. There will definitely be talent at 33. This is a deep deep class with lots of different types of receivers. Wr 7 or 8 doesnt mean much. Good receivers can hit any time. Puka Nacua went in the 5th round last year. What ranking do you think he had going in to the draft?
  6. Another thing that could be of note. TB targeted tight ends the 4th least last season. So thats probably good for us.
  7. Rachaad Rice, TBs starting rb had 64 receptions last season.
  8. I would definitely take a day 3 flyer on Laube. Guy catches everything out of the backfield and has a knack for finding open space.
  9. I really dont see the Leggett hype. Im not sure if its just where he went to college or what
  10. June cut probably lol. Dont really save anything but the fact Canales mentioned Hubbard and didnt mention Sanders at all probably isnt the best sign.
  11. The scheme we are probably going to run definitely isnt a power run. It will actually focus on passing to rb a lot if its anything like they did in TB. We will probably draft a pass catching rb in the mid to later rounds.
  12. I don't think hes worth what he will get and we need quick receivers who get seperation. Hes definitely not known for getting seperation.
  13. I agree, but i dont believe his scheme is very aggressive in general. I wasnt just talking about last year.
  14. Yea that made more sense. Dan was at least here last year. There are some hard questions that he could definitely answer. Canales though, that was pointless.
  15. Evero is a proven commodity with a track record for making above average defenses that play a lot better than the sum of their parts. Hes perfect for us right now as we rebuild. If you had a stacked defensive roster there are other defensive coordinators i would rather have because I personally dont love the scheme and prefer a more aggressive approach, but all that said Evero is a really good coach whos specialty is making chicken salad out of chicken poo.
  16. I cringed, that was such a bait question for clicks. What answer is he going to give to that. Im all for asking the hard questions but that is a useless one.
  17. I disagree. I get what youre saying but you want to build a new culture to start the rebuild. You have a blank slate to get guys who buy in and enforce the culture.
  18. Another thing not really mentioned is they pretty much made it clear that Evero is staying, they all but said it.
  19. Dan going hard right there talking about how we need players that are passionate about football and inflict pain on the opponent and how we havent had enough of those players in recent history.
  20. Its because we never draft man beater wide receivers. We always try to draft physical receivers who are big and strong. If a receiver is making a lot of contested catches in college then they most likely aren't going to work in the NFL because if you cant create seperation in college then you are screwed in the nfl where everyone is stronger and faster
  21. We gave him the go ahead to find a trade last year and it didnt happen. No one is going to give anything up for him I dont think.
  22. My biggest worry is he is an athletic specimen in college. Moving up to the nfl i feel like he is going to have to be a totally different type of player because he wont be able to out muscle or size for those conrested catches in the NFL. Honestly any receiver that makes a lot of contested catches in college worry me in the NFL.
