  1. It's an improvement from everyone and their momma knowing who we were going to pick. Now need to see how he navigates the rest of the draft.
  2. I see you're back to being in your feelings pooing posts at 4 am. I slept great. Ready to see who we're drafting for defense
  3. I don't think you gotta pray for that one bud I think it's already established.
  4. I don't see why people are so irate about this. Just within the last few weeks I myself was saying we should not be overvaluing Adam Thielen the way we had been and our WR room was concerning. We addressed it big time. Now we can focus on the defense there will be plenty of talent available. Either way as I've said repeatedly this draft was not and should not have been about trying to fix the entire roster including the defense in one offseason. The FO needs to build intelligently for the long term.
  5. As a skeptic about this and our FO I am glad we finally put this to rest.
  6. I will say. Bryce Young. Absolutely zero excuses. The predraft hype around him was we wouldn't need to overinvest in talent around him and we've drafted back to back 1st round WR's. Time to show up and show out or see the door.
  7. Well it's an offensive league we got a #1 pick and an offensive head coach. I'm concerned about the defense. But nobody available at our pick was going to save this pass rush as a rookie anyways.
  8. I was waiting for someone to tip the pick lol oops
  9. Honestly. I like it. People are going to rage. But we need it.
  10. Mason Graham wasn't going to fall to us anyways. So far looks like it's going as expected.
  11. Yup. I said this at the end of last season when people were jerking it over those wins after we were long out of contention. You want to win "for the culture" this is what comes with it. Missing out on things like this.
  12. Browns got next years first a 2nd and a fourth for #2
  13. I definitely share your concern for this. But we also aren't going to compete much this season. One of the biggest issues has been the decision makers trying to fix everything in one season. If they step back from that maybe they won't fug everything up. I guess we can hope.
  14. At this point you have to assume it's by design. We've fired and hired multiple head coaches hired a new GM. What's the remaining constant? David Tepper. Also bare in mind the XL pick was tipped way before the week before the draft anyways. Bryce Young's own father was lobbying for him on twitter. This goes way beyond just not being able to keep a lid on things. This is the way our organization operates for better or worse and it's how things have been since ownership changed. Tepper might not be front and center anymore but nothing behind the scenes has changed. People might as well reconcile with that now.
  15. On the surface most people are going to agree that more picks are a good thing. The problem is so far our FO has been unable to resist trying to speed up the timeline in situations like this and tries to fix everything they can in one draft instead of just taking the best talent that falls to them. There's a high probability this will happen again. Maybe they'll finally get lucky. But I'm not going to hold my breath on it.
  16. The issue is the person who is the one spending the assets has a history of making bad selections both as GM and an assistant GM.
  17. For me I'm not at all against more assets. In fact I'm in favor of it given our needs. Where the issue and the disconnect from some of my fellow fans begins is the fact that it is Dan Morgan navigating this draft. Right now I'm not convinced Dan Morgan couldn't ruin a wet dream if given the chance. He is too Fittereresque. And he's got the same scouts in his ear that Scott did. He got too cute in last years draft. We can't afford a repeat. If anyone is interested below is a good discussion of the 2024 draft and covers why many people here are not enamored with Morgan likely being trade happy once again. If he didn't learn anything from last year we're toast.
  18. This would be the type of move to get someone in their front office canned in a hurry if the team underperforms. I don't see them moving a 24 year old WR who is coming off a career season.
  19. Haven't had a winning season since 2017 have had some of the worst drafts in recent memory in three consecutive years we're rumored to be seeking a "less than market deal" to move down out of an 8th overall pick and here you are shining shoes while judging others. Insufferable kiss ass.
  20. I mean it's strange to say the picks don't have to do with anything. We're heading into the 8th consecutive season of possibly yet another losing record. We're never going to alter trajectory if we can't start hitting on picks regardless of if we move around or how other teams perceive our GM.
