Even in the link you offer there is a side mention of the daughter of the creator of the wonderlic test who says it is useless in this day and age. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-daughter-of-wonderlic-test-creator-isnt-happy-with-the-nfl/ What's your personal opinion on it? At best it's hit and miss. Definitely not something we should judge a QB on before they have played meaningful time in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes and Geno Smith had the same wonderlic score of 24

Yeah I'm not arguing he's going to be a dominant take over games wideout that should be DJ Moore considering expectations. Though in truth we have not had a consistent deep passing game in the last two seasons some of that has been the OL the rest has been the inability of our QB's to accurately get the ball there. But Teddy was right about our redzone struggles we didn't want to admit it at the time but our staff was not getting it done and we know that now. -

Not comparing their talent just looking at the situations they faced at certain career points. Say what you will about Jake Delhomme but he had a passion for the game and was clutch at times and Steve Smith started his career with him he could have done a lot worse. Sam Darnold has been one of the worst starting quarterbacks of the last ten years and is the same QB he was at USC. He's been so bad people have even been dogging on DJ Moore like he's subpar. Let's see what this group looks like with a quarterback that isn't a panicked mess even from a clean pocket and go from there. If RA truly isn't good he won't be here much longer time will tell. -

He had a dreadful season no doubt. But if we are going to drag Smitty into this let's keep it real. RA has had to play with Sam Darnold multiple seasons and finally thought he got away from him in Carolina. If 89 had to play multiple seasons with Jimmy Clausen like his 554 yard 2 touchdown season in 2010 he would have blown his stack and we all damn well know that. -

Maybe he'll have a career season or maybe he won't even be on the team next year. It doesn't appear social media is great for his mental health. For whatever you think of him he has a knack for getting certain fans riled up and showing their true form -
Can't believe the Chiefs didn't bite

Well why waste our time with Jimmy why don't we call up KC and see what they want for the INT machine Mahomes?
-
The most recent sight of Jimmy G was him throwing a very ill advised pass to the other team and squashing his own teams postseason hopes. Keep in mind that is with a very solid Niners roster. We can get that level of mediocre without giving up more draft picks.
-
He's not that big of an upgrade and the 49ers were asking for a 2nd round pick last I heard. This idea should be done and over with by now.
-
So he thinks Liberty QB Malik Willis is a confirmed bust but has a hard on and a HOF jacket already waiting for the Coastal Carolina QB he is smitten with. Typical
-
Only a few crazies and folks who are still reliving the past want Cam back as a starter. That has nothing to do with the fact Sam Darnold needs to be politely shown the door.
-
First play of the game and threw the game sealing pick into triple coverage the week before against the Eagles. The man throws some of the worst interceptions you will ever see. It is what it is these people still on this same tune about maybe he could be this or that are delusional.
-
The Carolina Panthers drafted Matt Corral. We did not draft Sam Darnold. He is the New York Jets failure. No one hope he sucks they have simply seen enough. The future is here and that future is either Corral or the next man up if he happens to not be the answer. That is the way the NFL works.

The biggest question with Watson no matter how you felt about acquiring him was what awaited down the line. Considering Watson's new contract and the most guaranteed money in league history by a wide margin I am just fine with this route. If need be we can weigh the value of next years rookie QB class too.

How about we take a look at the kid in an NFL practice and go from there.
-
There is no need to be delusional about this. The facts are there for anyone who seeks the information.

If it's a reasonable deal yes kick the tires. People saying he sucks will be singing the blues this fall if our pass rush isn't up to standards.
