There was a time when Panthers fans thought they locked in their franchise quarterback and an all time shut down secondary in one season. Gotta laugh to keep from crying.
-
Depends on what you're looking for. With the threat of his legs yeah he can still motor. But the arm isn't scaring anyone. If it was he would absolutely be on a roster somewhere. When we moved on initially we should have went all in on moving up in the draft for our own QB if need be but we have over and over tried to acquire retreads. Rhule and Co have been deathly afraid of developing a rookie QB and that is why we are staring down the barrel of yet another rebuild.

So much for being top 10 eh

I'm all for trashing Baker Sam Rhule McAdoo etc but Cam was and is done.
-
This guy stinks and he talked WAY more junk than the average. F*ck you Baker.

He got picked on all of the second half of last season and we still threw a ton of money at him.

Haasan Reddick is having himself quite the day with a real coaching staff.
-
But I thought we had one of the top run blocking olines in the NFL? At least that's what some of the homer squad here told us.
-
The Seahawks dropped 40+ with Geno Smith and we get stuffed like idiots on 4th down at home hahahaha. Rhule and McAdoo are an atrocious match.
-
Of course we get brutalized in our first game action and await to see if our Panthers will lay an egg. Ahh the life of a Charlotte sports fan. OptimisticFineChevrotain-mobile.mp4

Just stopping by to say Gordon Hayward is a bum.
-
I was thinking this as well. But Panthers gotta be the Panthers.
-
I forgot this was a 4 o clock game. Weak.

Predominantly you obviously need a star quarterback if you want not just consistent playoffs but Super Bowl appearances. People referencing two or three quarterbacks out of the last 10-15 years are high on hopium and the folks referencing QB's from the 90's 80's and even further need to walk on back to 2022 with the rest of us. We have to draft our guy and stop trading for leftovers.

If and when if and how Rhule is let go
frankw replied to TrevorLaurenceTime22's topic in Carolina Panthers
Don't get your hopes up about this happening unless Rhule completely loses the locker room. The only way Tepper pulls the plug is if and when it becomes a PR nightmare. -
You say they are open but you seem to be missing the full picture where all roads lead to Matthew Kenneth Rhule. Let me help you.
-
His effort can be questionable at times but I can't blame him for tiring of risking it all for the likes of Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield. Flame our receivers all you want pal. These quarterbacks stink and let's not forget it was Matt Rhule who walked into this building saying how much he wanted to coach Cam Newton and then couldn't wait to get him out of the building and get his own guy. Well we're still waiting....
-
His effort was questioned in threads this week it isn't my responsibility to keep you updated. You might notice these other discussions if you could take your eyes off me sweet cheeks

I'm sure you can find something better to do than camping out here waiting to get triggered by one of my posts.

Aaron Wilson: Tepper's patience with Rhule growing thin
frankw replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'll believe it when I see it and lawl at Dan Quinn. GTFO with this mess -
People trying to drag DJ while caping for Rhule are garbage. I'll go with the WR who has produced big with some of the worst quarterbacks around over a head coach who still doesn't know what a good QB looks like or how to develop one.

Anyone remember CJ Anderson? It's crazy how we moved on from Ron Rivera for who we thought was going to be a young and innovative mind only to see ourselves fall victim to the same stubborn shenanigans.
-
This is just a running joke within the league now. Even if he plays this weekend it's only a matter of time. It was so stupid to sign him to that extension at the time with no starting QB in place and it only looks worse and worse as time goes on when we are relegated to trading for retread QB's who take us nowhere and are mediocre at best.
