I think it’s a little early to say the whole Darnold failed thing. I mean Brady’s play calling is horrid and the OL has been atrocious. Darnold isn’t a gunslinger QB, and the OL isn’t built for pass protection. No coincidence that the games we have won is when we run the football. Would Jake be more successful in this offense than Sam? We don’t have a gunslinger, and that’s okay. He also has 12 TDs and hasn’t had McCaffrey for 4 weeks.

Darnold scored 28 on the Wonderlic. Just for Reference Baker Mayfield scored a 25 and Lamar Jackson scored a 13.

Like the guy commented earlier, I’m not technically a mechanic but I have replaced a few motors and transmissions. Ive spent time playing and coaching (never on the pro level of course) but I’m smart enough to understand schemes, techniques, and general responsibilities. I guess. I was telling a friend the other day that one of my biggest fears for this offseason is that this OL start playing mediocre and it doesn’t get addressed.

8-9 will probably get you the 7th seed in the NFC this year. 9-8 will about lock in the 7th or get a 6th. We have 4. New England, Miami, Atlanta, WFT likely get us in. A win over NO or TB just about lock it in. Buffalo and AZ is gonna be tough
