I don't know where this forfeit talk is coming from BUT if it did happen, it would be both a good thing and a bad thing. I would've gone for it. You practiced 4th down situations in Preseason with Sam. Why don't you try it during actual game situations? Unless of course Rhule does not believe the O-Line can hold off the pressure on Sam for him to have time to make a throw....

The fumble, imo, was both Sam and Ricci's fault. But that can also be attributed to not practicing that play all that much...so that could also fall on Coaching(Rhule) as well. How often do the Panthers use a Fullback?
