Justin Fields 61 yard rushing touchdown
Jackie Lee replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe they'll listen to Baldy but prob not. They've made up their minds to hate a guy that every ex player on Twitter is saying he's officially a franchise guy -
Tepper and Hurney forgot to ask Rhule if he even knew any NFL quality staff. His only NFL guys in year one were Jeff Nixon who he went to college with, and Pat Meyer who had just been fired from the Chargers so he was going to say yes to any O-line job.

Pretty fair updated QB rankings. Still not sold on Stroud but he is the safe/boring pick for 2nd best QB. Levis ranked QB #7 where he deserves after being mocked to go #3 overall for no reason last week https://draftwire.usatoday.com/lists/2023-nfl-draft-rankings-quarterback-bryce-young-cj-stroud-anthony-richardson-hendon-hooker-will-levis/

Brugler: Next year's quarterbacks "not universally loved"
Jackie Lee replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm sure they're hoping they can grab one of those D-line guys, but Ringo or one of the WR's wouldn't be bad for them either. Crazy they can potentially be deep in the playoffs and also have the #6 pick in the draft from the Saints -

They brought in Corral last year for a visit, and they're definitely going to lose Minshew in FA. Why they'd be concerned about a 1st round QB I dunno -
Yeah Irsay basically blamed the whole thing on Luck retiring while explaining why he fired Reich. And said other weird poo about sausage and sleep apnea. If he came into my bar while I was working I wouldn't serve him out of suspicion alone, he's obviously not mentally well but has so much money no one is willing to step in and have him get actual help

There's more going on mentally with him than just a drinking problem. Those eyes don't look right

PFF grades from Week 9 loss to Bengals
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Right, TMJ didn't make sense on a practical level. I just mean in hindsight it's easier to understand why it happened, and it was because Rhule is a moron who's narcissism and nepotism got in the way of developing the guy properly. One thing I want to keep track of is Higgins with this "illness" and why he's still not getting any minutes. He went from looking really good in preseason straight to the bench. -

That's like saying we should have gone QB over Ickey in last years draft. Just because we need a QB doesn't mean you reach for one because there was a narrative 8 months ago that this QB class was better than last year. The tank crowd can't even decide on which QB is the #1 sure thing because they are all flawed -
Time to bust out paper bags on heads at the Thursday Night game?
Jackie Lee replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
He already fired the coach and subjected himself to an embarrassing press conference, that's about as good as it's going to get for the rest of this year. We can return to this idea if he hires Dan Quinn and drafts Levis at 3 or something equally as shitty -
It will at least be more entertaining to look at

PFF grades from Week 9 loss to Bengals
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
TMJ made sense because it was a Joe Brady guy, and Robbie was Rhules guy. Bozeman made no sense at all, him and his wife are completely open about how he signed expecting to start. I'm guessing it was Rhules idea to get Elf in free agency and then Fitt's idea to get Bozeman to upgrade. I know Boze got hurt, but there was literally no reason to have them in a starting competition in the first place -

Once Rhule was canned it's obvious the "injury" stuff and whatever else was keeping him from getting snaps was completely Rhule related. Rhule did a good job of putting the blame on TMJ for not earning his opportunities, and no one really realized just how horrible of a coach he was behind closed doors until he was out of the building -

Yikes

Why exactly is Dalton playing over Winston?

I remember seeing some camp fluff from 20 or 21 and Evan Cooper seemed like a complete moron talking to the CB's on the field. Basically Rhule style cheerleader stuff with zero substance on technique. The D-line coach should be at Ihop getting the early bird special and going to bed by 7pm like a normal senior citizen
