    Yeah with the Charlotte Observer guys leaking we were out because of the guaranteed money the day before, I think everyone else was probably getting cold feet. Still funny the Falcons, his hometown team, got burned the worst after all that fluff going around about being a ball boy and Arthur Blanks bff.

    He's on his 5th year so it's the same money we're paying now for Sam, that's the issue for me. I'd rather have Minshew for the same trade with less cap hit

    At best I could think of a 3 way trade for us to get baker and a pick, and ship Darnold and that pick to the Texans or whoever. But why wouldn't the Texans/whoever just bypass us and send Baker directly somewhere else? If we didn't sign Sams option we could have gotten the 4th back and Baker but too late for that

    With the torn labrum and the 5th year option/potentially hitting FA if he plays well it's a waste of time/another gamble. Plus he's generally dislikable and I'm already sick of him from all those commercials

    After watching some Pickett film breakdown I definitely prefer to take Willis and sit him for at least half a season

    Would be nice to see the actual article, but I'm guessing the Browns are calling other teams, not the other way around considering one team wanted a pick to take Mayfield's cap hit on. Same way we'd have to send a pick with Darnold to get rid of him.

    How much do we have to pay to get rid of Darnold? could be a three way trade where the Texans take Darnold for a draft pick, we take Mayfield for whatever pick swap the Browns offer
