That is also debatable. I don't think gettleman has been gm long enough to confidently say he can do that. Last season was optimistic but how many of those guys played out of necessity? I dont think Benjamin gets as many chances as he does on a team deep at wr.kony was so so. Benewiere was solid but tre Boston would not start on most teams.

honestly i dont see anyone i love enough to move up. Now if i could move up in the second round and snag say Cedric ogubuei or how you spell his name then we could talk. The meat and potatoes in this class is in the second. Not much difference from pick 20-50

That said gettleman seems like a conservative. He won't trade up until the later rounds. doesn't like to gamble his future.

Waynes likely would be the only guy you mentioned with a shot of being there. White goes top 10. Parker likely 10-15 range.

This is a brilliant signing. Gives us lots of options at tackle and puts us in a position to go bpa in the draft. I question gettleman's approach a lot but this is a good signing. Love th cheap low risk tackle signings.

Oh but it is. If you think any player we have drafted since the Rae Carruth era hasn't been signed off by Richardson I think your mistaken. The point being is that all of our picks have to meet a certain "good boy quota". Which is why no one ever projects players with character issues to us. It's become a part of who we are as a team. It's the reason everyone says Hardy is done here and the reason why you would pass on a Janoris Jenkins or any player with red flags. These players simply don't seem to find there way to a Carolina roster.

Your point is pointed at the Gettleman tenure which is fair. But i am talking about this franchise as a whole. If you want to make it just about Gettleman we simply don't have enough info to measure his success on second round picks. Though it looks promising with both. Our history as a whole on second round picks isn't nearly as good.

I would think we would be lucky if he was there in the first. no way he on the board in the second round. With that said we just dont have the guts to grab a player with his concerns. I think personally just on talent he is the best wr in the draft. But like someone said about rae....its always on jerrys mind.
