  1. first off i hate the shaq pick...don't see it helping us in the short term. With that out the way i love funchess and im optimistic about the Oklahoma kid. everything else is a wash...calling this a better draft than last season..how? We had the majority of our picks make the all rookie team. That said lets say shaq pans out and funchess. Williams isn't really in a position to start like trai...who knows how good he is. The last two picks are not going to play much sorry(maybe Payne will). And to say this class is better than kelvin ealy trai, bene, and Boston????? Wishful thinking.
  2. Anyone on trai's Twitter? Put tiger signal in the air send the message.
  3. Hard to see them just cutting cotchery.. also Steven hill looms in the background and they love bersin...
  4. 29. Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA (88) Instincts/recognition: 1 Take-on skills: 3 Range vs. run: 2 Tackling: 2 Third-down capabilities: 1 What he brings: He is the best coverage linebacker in this draft. He lacks ideal size and power for the position in run defense, but he makes up for it with very good overall range and his quick diagnosis of plays. He's a playmaker against both the run and the pass. kendricks is way superior....
  5. First off kendricks is better than shaq lets get that out the way. Not only is he will he not be bpa at 25 when we are on the clock he isn't even the best at his position. People i would take over shaq at 25: Peat Perriman Gordon Gurley fisher kendricks Humphries DGB Dorsett landon Collins Peters Darby Flowers.
  6. Hes a backup day one for us. We don't stay in base and spent over 60%(give or take) of our time in nickel. We already have the best coverage lbs in the game so why get another when we have bigger needs at ol cb and wr. a player who sees the field 30% of the time is not what you draft in the first 2 rounds.
  7. My gooddness can we stop stop talking about this waste of space... he is not a first round player or immediate need. we can get a backup linebacker later.
  8. I would like George farmer (usc). Sleeper former 5 star talent would could have a better pro career than college. He bounced around from rb to wr.
  9. Da'rick Rodgers wasn't 6'5 237 and didn't run a sub 4.5. I loved Rodgers but as far as being a football specimen,he and DGB are on different planets. DGB was the consensus top player in the country coming out of high school. He is a "blue goose" based off talent. Everyone know how hard i banged the table and told you benji was superior to he who shall not be named in indy. And with that said DGB is better than Benji....Same size faster better hands and better route runner. He can win in the small ball game on the ground breaking out of cuts as well a being a jump ball demon. Even while playing for a mizzo team without elite QB talent,he still pretty much was the best prospect at wr in college.
  10. I think he has a shot at going in the first...just not us. I saw where KC and some other teams are giving him a good hard look. And If you can refuse to interview with a team(the cowboys) then someone has told you something good. Again this is my dream pick and the pick we should make but won't bible belt Big Kat meh no tats blah blah old school.
  11. I'mpretty good with all(but the defensive end projection) you picked. Atleast there is no shaq thompson love going on in there. But overall really good mock.
  12. I think there are many of us that are of the mind you don't win wars with choir boys. And while im not saying wver red flagged yahoo is worth a risk...players who wouldn't be available to you if "issues" didn't pop up are how good teams get bargains. Rams with jenoris Jenkins cowboys with dez. List goes on. Now if our locker room anf front office is really as great as we all believe it is why not use it to help change some talented but troubled young mans life? If you have a strying family oriented locker room don't mare it some smug country club where only the good ole boys get in. Use it to create a foundation of leadership guidance to these young players. Everyone isn't rae carruth. Now if you can get a wr would is arguably the best in the draft at 25 because he got into a fight with his gf and smoked a few joints... why not look into it.
  13. This is my dream pick but with our bible belt mentality it all but a dream. I dont think we would pick him if he was there in the second round (which he will not).
  14. I have to disagree. My idea of "BPA" is waiting to see what falls to you and selecting from your board the best overall talent. If your trading up for anyone that's not BPA because everyone is available for a price if your willing to move up. It completely contradicts the idea of sitting back and taking the best player. Evem if it only costs you a 7th rounder your moving up because you believe that guy won't be there when you pick. Thats not BPA.
  15. Because if you trade up thats pretty much all but saying you need this player.your not waiting for bpa to fall in your lap and your giving up more get said player.
  16. I wouldn't say that. Their are situations where supply would dictate a move such as safety. Outside say Collins There are no other start right away quality prospects. So i would say depends on who.
  17. tre boston a first round pick? Lmao what did he do to make you even utter those words? Just stop.
  18. That is also debatable. I don't think gettleman has been gm long enough to confidently say he can do that. Last season was optimistic but how many of those guys played out of necessity? I dont think Benjamin gets as many chances as he does on a team deep at wr.kony was so so. Benewiere was solid but tre Boston would not start on most teams.
  19. honestly i dont see anyone i love enough to move up. Now if i could move up in the second round and snag say Cedric ogubuei or how you spell his name then we could talk. The meat and potatoes in this class is in the second. Not much difference from pick 20-50
