Carolina Panthers agree to terms with Cam Newton.

I'm trying to be positive, but there is a reason Cam was available midseason. Better option than the Temple/XFL superstar Walker. Who are we bringing in to block for him? -
Where is this 'win now' mentality coming from?
BlueOnBlack replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
Where do you think it's coming from? The richest owner in the NFL, who is shrewdly pretending not to meddle at all, but meanwhile? Is micromanaging the entire thing, too to bottom. Jerry Jones, sans the press conferences and sports radio appearances. -
Another one of College Rhule's more shameless, Varsity Nepotism projects. Practice squad, at best. Should not be starting an NFL game, period.

Was expecting way more from Marshall, and the TEs today.

According to Cam Newton, Cam Newton was released because Cam Newton was viewed as a "distraction" to NE rookie QB Mac Jones. No word on why one of the other 31 teams in the League haven't picked him up, yet. The fact that he's now referring to himself in the third person is a huge red flag. He would benefit greatly from some psychotherapy/professional help.

Question for you 50 years plus folk (and others)?
BlueOnBlack replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper is the richest owner in the NFL, and he always thinks he's the smartest dude in the room. No way he's not going to take complete control of his own personal toy in his own private sandbox. The Rhule hire/contract says it all. Outlook: Bleak. -
Word on the Pro Street, is Newton isn't smart enough to learn the Patriot Offense's Playbook, can't resist dancing/carrying on like a fool to the Hip-hop music played during practice after every snap, and is not vaccinated. The fact that he was released? Not exactly a mystery.

Not saying the kid is a bust, but I think the Horn pick will work out better for us. Makes me wonder if we really would've chosen him if he was available at #8? Something tells me we wouldn't have?
