    Does anyone remember if there was reported interest from the Seahawks for hiring DC as HC prior to us hiring him? I don’t recall them ever having interest. Was that accurate?

    Literally no reason to extend him or pick up the 5th year option. If they do it’s a huge fail. You have him on contract next year to compete with your FA QB and/or drafted QB anyways and it’s not like they’re gonna save money or something lol. Of course it means they’ll do it

    So the win/lose streak that started in Oct continues into January. Will we Panther it when it matters most and lose out on a division title, playoffs, and finally having a winning record again after a billion years? The defense and run game deserves to experience a decent end to this season even with their flaws. Hope they get it.

    I’m sure Tepper with his deep pockets could find a way to convince him to stay a coordinator with an assistant head coach title especially with the way DC has been going so far

    Get a journeyman qb (maybe Willis) or draft one to develop, or both. Put some actual assets to build this defense. Replace Evero with a Brian Flores. Touch up the offense a bit more and not let DC call plays and we might get somewhere!
