That first line is a looot of projecting there, bucko. You're here literally begging for people to not talk about CJ Stroud anymore because you might get uglier than you've been since the 2023 draft. I don't know how we can have a rational conversation about the quality of losses if you're going to be so emotional about it. There isn't a whole lot that feelings can do to change the fact that a 6-3 L vs. Baltimore is less impressive than a 30-27 L vs the defending x2 SB champs that are currently 15-1. But whatever has you down over the holidays, I genuinely hope it gets better.

I hope that we finally get back-to-back winning seasons sooner rather than later.

Great opportunity for the other RBs on the roster. Chuba's the starter going into 2025 and Brooks is likely going to be starting on the PUP again. The question mark will be what the team decides to do with Miles Sanders and his contract. If somebody can show out these final weeks they might be able to sneak on to next year's roster.

While that puts more on CJ's plate, statistically he looks to be handling it well enough. His OL on the other hand...

I can understand taking XL over Ladd given the roster makeup. Ladd would be competing with AT, the only established WR on the roster. The team also needed speed to keep opposing safeties honest while having a big body guy (ie: DK, Evans) to go win 50/50 balls. So it was a choice between taking a slot guy and moving on from AT, or keeping AT and grabbing somebody that could develop into an X. They thought XL was that guy.

XL getting higher than avg separation with an HC+OC that have backgrounds with WRs gives me so much hope for his development.

I know that folks are rightfully pounding the table for EDGE help as well as some more talent on the DL, but with only Demani Richardson under contract next season and the way Evero's system uses them I fully expect safety to be #1a or #1b in terms of priority.
