Panthers Prospect Visits/Meetings (Final Update-4/22)

I cant find anything about Mykel Williams visiting. I can find a pro day meeting. Where was this reported? -
"Because Granger did not play in college and at least four NFL seasons have elapsed since he finished high school in 2020, he was eligible for last year's draft. That meant the Panthers or any team could sign him as a free agent this year." https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6263121/2025/04/08/panthers-basketball-tight-end-signing-colin-granger/

You are assuming his weight is the same now as when he played basketball
-
And then he wwnt on to say the only difference between Walker and Carter is a couple inches downplaying height. It's just words, no consistency

Wharton played more pct of snaps than Williams. They are both rotational -
Height was only brought up because McShay has to fill space in order to cover a draft for months
-
The short thing is so overblown. He's half an inch shorter than Von Miller and 1.5 taller than Reddick. He's got a longer wingspan than either. This is the only time of year any of this matters

He's normal to big for a 3/4 DE -
I would think we would have had some contact with him if ithat nterested.
-
Williams isn't worth anywhere near what he got.
-
Strange, no contact with him so far.
-
Insurance. His contact appears to he 100% base. He can be cut and have zero cap hit.

Panthers Prospect Visits/Meetings (Final Update-4/22)

I don't think Watson is expected to be an UDFA prospect. There's absolutely nothing about him as a prospect and the only chatter is about the novelty. There are references to him having a lit of attention from nutritionists to control his weight and he still put on weight constantly. Also quotes about him being winded doing any drill.
