If we had ended up with a top 3 pick and moving to #1 wasnt going to cost us significantly I wouldnt have made the comment. But if we have to give up 3 1s to get that first choice then they all do. They are all just as capable of turning into a Leaf, Marinovich, or Russel. Im a long way from the smartest football guy around here but the idea of trading years worth of firsts seems wrong-headed when it doesnt come with a guarantee.

Watching the game last night and then thinking about it again today I just dont think that holding call was that pivotal. When the 2 min break came with KC in the red zone "I wrote game over in my notebook". I thought is was an unfortunate call but it absolutely didnt ruin the game for me at least.

Fox needs to overhaul their whole desk. Two players that havent played in 30+ years and another who would rather be on a daytime talk show. A coach who hasnt coached in this century. Its all just a little too "grandpa's football show" for my tastes. Add in the absolute cringe attempts at humor and the in your face gambling and its all just too much and way out of step.

This is what Im loving about it. The show runners are clearly not afraid to punch the viewers in the gut whenever they take a notion to.
