His ball does not have zip you see in elite talent. You do not pick a guy #1 overall who will never be elite.

Every scout said arm strength is a concern with him. He generates little to none zip on the ball. Not sure what scout reports you reading.

Noodle arm Bryce is better in everything?

Kyler who is taller and bigger than Bryce, missed 9 out of 34 games or 26% in last 2 season due to hits he took and is expected to miss beginning of 2023 season. Kyler also has faster release and bigger arm.

Even during combined, AR passes were not great. WRs had to slowdown to catch the deep ball. And that’s with no pass rush and in shorts. I bet AR first instinct will be to run in NFL. I would love for him to succeed and prove me wrong but he might be just another The Golden Calf of Bristol.

This plus McCown was drooling over Stroud before he got hired and McCown was drooling during Stroud pro day while Reich walked with Stroud’s mom like a proud dad with a smile on his face. Reich loves old school pocket QBs with big arm. There’s only one QB in first round that fits that mold. The amount of smoke blowing around is insane.

And Young already missed time with shoulder injuries before even hitting NFL.
