  1. I’ll add a bit more. I met the owner back in 2013 when Saucemans was just starting and he explained to me he used a lot of Asians spices infused with regular BBQ seasonings and it gave unique flavors that just out of this world so I begun experimenting and got into BBQing. I do mystery meats at my place for fun for anyone who dares and I’d smoke ostrich, deer, buffalo, snake, bear, gator, etc. and let folks guess. Gator got to be the hardest meat not to screw up. It should be deep fried really but there’s a way to make decent burnt ends out of it if you do it right.
  2. I got to give big thanks for my inspiration in BBQ to this guy. http://www.saucemans.com/
  3. Wish we still have huddle tailgates. Would be the perfect place.
  4. I have a ton. For this Christmas I’m making fillet mignons marinated in spices and fresh herb paste then smoked on low heat to 105* and seared to desired temp with garlic butter, salt, black garlic, pepper mix. Also making lamb steaks with tarragon baste, smoked reck of lamb with tarragon aioli and orange zest, smoked turkey legs for the kids, smashed burger with two patties and home made pimento cheese inside, with smoke chile bbq sauce, and Poblano pickle relish (all home made). For sides I make garlic butter mushrooms, mash potatoes with green chile queso sauce, coconut rice, and eleven-layer potato gratin with caramelized shallots and fried sage. For dessert I’m making home made cannolis, key lime pie, and fruit tart.
  5. No, I’m not because I look at cooking as art and I’m active. I read sooo many books and I have experimented with nearly ever spice on earth. I was able to figure out how to perfectly make BBQ with unique flavors. I use infusion of some Asian spices and my technique is much different from ordinary BBQing. I have been begged to join multiple competitions to team up with the big boys that have done it all their lives but BBQ is my side gig.
  6. His eyes are open. You should see me smile and I see everything.
  7. Anything Tepper touches turns into trash. I bet Tepper’s spirit animal is a raccoon.
  8. He had large cans of beer in both hands while real feel temp outside was around 38* and raining. He kept running up and down and screaming the whole time.
  9. Not every day you can find yourself across the entire stadium. The last pick is the one I took.
  10. Also, I spoke to the guy at concession stand yesterday and they could not sell anything. Their biggest sold items were hot chocolate. It was first time in nearly 20 years I did not purchased any alcohol at the stadium. Here’s me sitting down for 4 minutes. About 2 cups of rain water in my poncho.
  11. I got mine for free lol. I took the first picture the one 5 mins before kickoff. I got a nice picture of the fumbled punt too.
  12. I’m at the game, it’s packed! 5 mins before kick off
  13. I will poke my head out at 11:30am to see if it’s worth going or not.
  14. AccuWeather have us at 2 inches, Brad P. have us at 2.5-3 inches but could be more. Wind will arrive in second half and some bands will pack a punch. 70mph wind gusts are possible in our area around 5pm. It’s scary because Charlotte is full of older oak trees so the soil will be very saturated and wind will uproot many trees. It will be bad.
  15. I got 4 lower level tickets for free so I’m actually going cause my son wants to experience poo football weather for the first time. I got some ponchos and told him he can tap out at any time and we can head home.
  16. Only difference it will be cold af. Real Feel around 38*.
  17. Projected 3-4 inches of rain with wind gusts around 50mph, flooding and mass power outages in our area. It could be a historic low pressure system for our area.
  18. I only watch NFL cause of my buddies and fantasy football at this point. Definitely not buying any merchandise or paying $15 to see the game. I legit cheer for players only. Don’t care who wins. Welcome to modern NFL.
