You can forget Sanders because Deon wont allow it and even if he did allow, it means you would have to put up with all his poo the rest of the kids career. If he would just shut his damn mouth and come coach some DB's while keeping an eye on his boy it might be worth it.

I agree with everything you just said. There is no way Stroud would have looked sucked here because he is simply as solid as they get. I can't believe we flubbed that draft so badly and traded so much for that pick. Truly depressing that out of all the QB's drafted early that year we ended up with the only player who is already failing out of the league beyond a shadow of a doubt. The other guys not named Stroud are not guaranteed yet but they still have a shot. Bryce on the other hand now feels as if it is all said and done on Bryce's career already this early into it. I just really cant see a turnaround at all. Never seen anyone look as bad as Bryce let alone completely change their trajectory before. I understand struggling but not looking flat out that scared and terrible. Worst case I have ever personally watched

I was hoping he would suck tonight to make me feel better. My kid kept calling for CJ Stroud in the draft and I am supposed to be the football "expert" in his eyes due to my history with the sport but I wanted Levis so his pick blew mine out the water. All I hear now is how he was right and I was wrong. Neither of us picked Bryce for what it's worth but both got behind him in support big time so it's been quite a bummer all the way around the past couple years.

Panic? I don't know if many who even thought we would win more than a game or two. It's sort of been expected but not any less of a downer. Panic no but a huge downer and sad to watch each week yes definitely.

It's getting there quickly. He is currently I would say easily in the top 2 or 3 and could be far and away number 1 by end of season. His body language and the expression on his face is depressing and draining. He is done inside, you can almost feel it coming off him.

Nothing wrong with Bryce having his faith and being proud of it at all. My issue is that the Lord isn't throwing passes for him on Sundays. He HAS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND PUT IT ON HIMSELF TO GET BETTER, BE MORE AGGRESSIVE, FIGHT HARDER, HAVE MORE FIRE IN HIM etc..... the Lord isn't going to do that for him as there are guys on the other team praying for them to have a great game as well. He should pray that the Lord keeps him safe out there and helps him unleash the monster within him when he plays fearless. The Lord is not dropping back throwing the football, he must and he must take over and be a leader but I just don't feel like that's going to happen with him. Nice guy but not at NFL quarterback.

Agreed. It's absolutely maddening now, I can not imagine how awful it could get if my prediction comes true.

I don't care to have him as our QB any more than anyone else but I see us keeping him the entire year and him playing the entire year as well as battling for starting QB next training camp. He is on a rookie deal and if not traded, I don't think he is going anywhere anytime soon. Bryce's confidence and mind appears to be completely gone. He seems afraid to now throw a pass further than about 4 yards. This team is in a really bad place and we all know Bryce no longer starting or playing begins to fix things and push things forward in a better direction if even for the development of our young WR's and TE's but I just don't see it happening. We are going to hump a dead mule until it's completely rotted to the bone and that makes take all this season and ext before you see any permanent changes at the quarterback position.
