  1. 3 year extension on his rookie deal so 4 total years on the contract.
  2. Kirk got $37m guaranteed. Moore has $41.6m guaranteed. Moore has vastly outperformed Kirk and just got barely more guaranteed money.
  3. The Jags gave Christian Kirk 4/$72m lmao
  4. Matt Rhule career HC record: 10-23 Dennis Allen career HC record: 8-28
  5. Honestly I would understand the interest in the Saints if Payton was still the HC, but between Payton no longer being there, what they can offer (#28 pick, later first round picks), and the pieces they could lose in FA/in a trade deal (Marcus Williams just left for the Ravens, Ramcyzk would have to be included in a deal, someone may pay Armstead a boatload in FA), I honestly don't see the appeal. But I guess that's just the Panther Blue tinted glasses I've got on.
  6. I don't even think it's possible for Atlanta to do this deal? Trading Ryan would result in a $55m dead cap hit. They only have $16m in cap space right now.
  7. Putting aside the moral implications of going after DW, if the deal is 3 1sts and Burns/Chinn, I'm ok with it. Besides #6, you're hoping the 1st next year is a mid-round pick (depending on length of a potential suspension) and the 1st in 2024 is a late round pick because DW is putting the Panthers in the playoffs. As much as I like Chinn and Burns, getting a franchise QB in his mid-20s with 10+ years of his best ball ahead of him is a price I'm gladly wiling to give up. At the end of the day, Chinn is a OLB/box safety and Burns is an edge rusher that gets abused in the run game. I think it's pretty easy to replace 60-70% of that production with other signings.
  8. Don't forget any deal for DW means the 6th overall pick, along with at least two players, will be going out, so that will offset cap space that's used for these mid-level signings.
  9. Former 2nd round pick, just 26 years old. Depending on the #s I like the signing.
  10. Seems what most are assuming is that the Panthers aren't interested in retaining Gilmore
  11. Sounds like Pep Hamilton said no thanks:
  12. Buffalo and NE are both 10-6 and split the season series, so Buffalo needs to win in order to win the division otherwise they'd be going on the road (likely to the Chiefs) if they lose to the Jets. They'll be gunning for that W. Giants and Washington are both eliminated from playoff contention so not much motivation for either side really besides pride.
  13. Someone tweeted a day or two ago before this announcement even came out that it was going to be Washington Commanders...let me see if I can find that tweet. Edit: tweeted out Sat AM
  14. He wasn't the only analyst to throw that out there:
  15. 2 of those sacks were Sam scrambles where he ran OOB behind the LoS while outside the pocket rather than throwing the ball away because he's a moron.
