  1. Cowboys sign sack master Greg Hardy. Meanwhile, in Atlanta... Chris Wesseling ‏@ChrisWesseling 8m8 minutes ago The three pass rushers signed by the Falcons (Clayborn, Schofield, Biermann) have averaged 2.96 sacks per NFL season.
  2. I think Gurley will be long gone by 25 anyway. Think he goes between 16-23. Texans (as heir apparent to Foster), Chargers (no #1 RB at the moment), Browns (less likely, but possible), Lions (already set up a visit and workout), Cardinals (Ellington is injury prone, rumors they are sniffing around AP) all could use him.
  3. He's been in Dallas for 2 days, taking a physical this morning, had dinner with coaches last night. They just cleared $12m in cap space last night by converting some of Romo's salary into a bonus. I'm hard pressed to believe the Boys will let him leave without a deal.
  4. Deciding between Dallas and TB today per Ian Rapoport
  5. ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 6m6 minutes ago Greg Hardy also plans to visit the Seahawks, per league source. Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora 37s37 seconds ago Dallas, Seattle and Tampa continue to be the 3 teams I hear most interested in Greg Hardy. Visits to DAL and SEA already set, TB possible
  6. Update: Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 4m4 minutes ago Free agent pass-rusher Greg Hardy is visiting the #Cowboys today, source said (as @nickeatman 1st noted). No agreement, but a big visit
  7. Unless Crabtree is willing to accept a 1-year, $2-3m prove it deal, I think our #2 WR will be found in the draft.
  8. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/03/16/nfl-teams-improve-after-signing-top-free-agents/HVtLsCoK0CkbHfCgJCgqcI/story.html
  9. They've got $15m in cap space, more than the Panthers. The only player with a cap number over $10m is Richard Sherman. It's called prudent cap management.
  10. No one cares about weed/roids/aderall in the league.
  11. Doubt we'd be getting a 3rd for Hardy if he has to take a 1-year prove it deal.
  12. They had the money to sign Murray, but didn't want to pay him what he wanted. Hardy is likely to come cheap(er) than expected, probably on a short-term deal. They've got $8m in cap space and can open up another $8m by designating CB Brandon Carr as a post-June 1 cut if they need it.
  13. Pretty sure they switched back to a 4-3 after Wade left. They've been running 4-3 for a few years now.
  14. mike fisher ‏@fishsports 5m5 minutes ago BREAKING: sources tell me #Cowboys are negotiating to sign FA defensive end Greg Hardy @1053thefan https://twitter.com/fishsports/status/577528185811693569
  15. Couple of tidbits on Britt's deal: Mike Garafolo ‏@MikeGarafolo 2m2 minutes ago Kenny Britt's deal with the Rams is for two years, as @RapSheet said, but he can void it after one, based on performance. Mike Garafolo ‏@MikeGarafolo 1m1 minute ago So Britt can be a FA again in '16. If he is, that means he had a good year. He'd be free at 27, so still young enough to sign long-term deal
  16. I wonder if Getts could get a guy like Nicks or Crabtree on a 1 year, $2-3m prove it deal next week.
  17. Dianna Marie Russini ‏@NBCdianna 2m2 minutes ago The Patriots are targeting WR Stevie Johnson per sources
  18. Mark Davis on any reports that the Raiders are negotiating with or interested in Greg Hardy: “False, falser and falsest” http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2015/03/13/mark-davis-reports-raiders-negotiating-interested-greg-hardy-false-falser-falsest/
  19. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m1 minute ago Former Browns CB Buster Skrine expected to sign with Jets, per me and @caplannfl.
  20. Dianna Marie Russini ‏@NBCdianna 19s19 seconds ago Sources tell me that Darrelle Revis wants 40 million guaranteed and Woody Johnson wants to make this happen #Jets
  21. Jay Glazer ‏@JayGlazer 12s13 seconds ago Saints and Seattle have now agreed on trade sending jimmy graham and a 4 to Seattle for max Unger and a 1st
  22. Jay Glazer @JayGlazer · 1m 1 minute ago The Saints and Seahawks are trying to finalize trade Jimmy Graham and a 4th rounder for Max Unger and Seattle first rounder
