I'm thinking anything offense starts with Canales, and his people. Remember the deal where they brought all the scouts in and met with coaches to set parameters for player evaluation? Seems like I do. Probably was a really important thing to do. And from what I see in Canales, he sweats the details. So would be able to give them a lot to lean on. Or into.

Reclamation... Baker. What's his age? edit: 29. I guess Lawrence is a year or two younger than I thought but it is really about former highly draft player that disappointed and lost the big opportunities.
-
All about the contract. If he gets cut and is FA? Not happening though.
-
I fell in love with Evan Engram that day. That is too much money for a reclamation. Just far too expensive.

I think if Dalton executes at 80-85% just grabbing a number, we are around a .500 team. (17 games of dalton) This is what we needed to see what kind of coach Canales can be. There is surely more that hasn't been put in. We'll see how deep his (well is). I still hold that you can't judge him to not have learned from last season, nor can you be sure he had free rein. He was inside of parameters defined by his boss and his personnel. This is HIS baby. There will be more than what people saw last year. It's probably going to show us what we have in a coach as much as the players.

How Many Games Before Dalton Loses a Start?
strato replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
For me the concern is no AT. I expect an impact. (in a probable shootout) It would be great if they have that covered but we'll have to see that on the field. one more thing: to expect 30+ points weekly, that's a bar we will have to see set over a period of time. It's hard to assume, even as good as that offense looked Sunday. -

And that says it all right now. -
Maybe add "top 3" or just high, up top. I want to draft one. I want to draft however many it takes year to year until one hits. It's like a crap shoot might take a few rolls. I am thinking with a guy who QBs like, he helps them, the retread rehab is a really good way to buy time to find that guy that gets overlooked in the draft a little.
-
Until the contract entered my feeble mind, I was looking for a better rehab candidate than Bryce. That's the only evaluation I did. He would be a big upgrade all else equal.
-
Have seen him be good one week and it shuts off again. Or in a half. Focus? 1) What are they going to have to pay Andy to start another season? 2) I was serious before about find another Andy for backup. Who is the closest that we could get? Andy is a top backup go get the toppest dude out there that is compatible. Then what is the total cost. You could be pretty set and be able to draft a guy after the 1st to try out and see what you have. If you make the 2nd guy a younger, Baker like rehab, that could work too. Might be the best thing. (and if you see a Rattler level guy late, go for it)

I think Bengals could. They had a bad game and scored 33 points and the week before lost by a point to KC which, I didn't watch how it got to 26-25 but they must have been in it. Also, we will be missing Thielen's sneaky availability on 3rd down. And as TD from last week. ( i know you said last week, but we'll probably have to do that again).

50/50 is a huge step up, I am not retreating off of Dalton and the team won't either whatever the outcome. He is incapable of being Bryce Young bad, we have that going for us. -
Not arguing the IOL. Will comment that Ickey's run blocking was poo as well which we know that should not be. That was him out there looking like half of what was in 2022. The drop backs, slow like that, I think it is so he can see. The jailbreaks didn't give him time to move anywhere and several sacks were because of that slow pitiful excuse for dropping and planting. I think it was vision, not there. Afraid to trust his arm, yep that is NFL open Bryce. Throw it.
-
I bet they didn't want to.
-
No. It would be your get well game if that guy was playing.
-
Okay, I believe she is a constituent so might have some experience. Lol. The disgrace! Put her in irons.
-
We were too, made zero difference. But they have a QB that can play and WRs that we wish we had probably. A quick investigation shows they are not playing complimentary ball, something different fails each week. They seem to be vulnerable defensively, so If their offense is on we'll hope for a shootout.
-
I never heard about comments by Thielen's wife (?). Are they like Thomas Brown's wife's comments? BigHank88's wife's comments? Defending her man against the message board. Was that here or on the older board? Been a long time ago.
-
We can hang in a shootout now. At least have a counter punch.
-
Why not. See what Canales can do with him. Make a good backup to Andy. Never happen, I am waiting to see who even wants Bryce for even bargain prices. Hell has his contract entered into anyone's thinking? It's huge.
-
He crossed a line up front, but at the same time we are killing humor to the point people are scared to say anything at all.
-
Thank you. Duh I now realize Fitterer went to DC not Chicago... I wasn't keeping up with him much. Too late to edit my idiocy out of sight too.
-
We are going to have to get another Diontae I guess. He adds so much. The speed and quickness elements, money.
-
And would not have.

As a society, our mental health is what we say it is now. Look at all the totally sane people out there doing totally sane poo, you have your proof.
