I don't think so. Watching him at Bama, he had all day behind an elite college OL to float dying ducks all over the field to future All-Pro WRs. Can't take anything away from what he did in college, I just didn't see translatable NFL traits.

He's trying to keep his job. If can find a way to keep Fields under wrap all season long it just might buy him another season. If he rolls Fields out there and they still suck, he's probably out. Honestly, I think the guy is every bit as bad as Gase. He's trash.

I think it'll be a blitz package. It's gonna be about confusing the QB as to where the pressure is coming from, but if you see us come out in a stack there's gonna be pressure coming.

Moton isn't a "name" guy and he plays in a small market. OL are almost always name guys and they get their name from playing on contenders and/or big market teams that get a ton of media attention. Trai Turner developed a name during our SB run and kept going to the Pro Bowl long after he should have due to that name. You gotta put up video game stats to have a shot at QB in today's NFL because there's gonna be several guys who do.

Overall I'd agree. CMC should put up video game numbers. Burns should have double digit sacks. Chinn and Horn's chances come down to INTs. Pass rushers and DBs almost always go due to sack and INT stats, respectively.

You bailed on the Jets when Darnold flopped. If he flops here, you'll bail on the Panthers and say he failed because we're a dumpster fire.

You gonna have to pay those guys like they're on the active roster or the NFLPA is going to have a big problem keeping those guys tied to a PS spot if they're being offered active roster status elsewhere. That would just be really unfair for those guys in that situation. That's why practice squads have always been pluckable.
