  1. Those wanting a safety in the 2nd are probably gonna be disappointed now.
  2. There went one of Rhule's crushes to the Falcons. He'll get to see him twice a year.
  3. If we felt like there was a lot of talent in this 2nd/3rd range this is a good move.
  4. Yes, I've been consistent with my position. Do you actually understand why I'm saying we've mortgaged our future on Darnold?
  5. Fire everyone if they're even considering trading next year's 1st.
  6. That's the sound of moving goal posts. Guess it wasn't going your way.
  7. Actually read the post you're replying to.
  8. Future picks should be off the table, period. We're already down two next year.
  9. You're always confident to the point of arrogance with the moves made by a team with an overall losing record. Our record under Tepper is considerably worse than the overall record. It might be time to come to grips with your delusion.
  10. To be honest, our best season by far under Tepper was his first which was still with all of JR's football people in place. Still waiting to see this big impact he's going to have on the football side of the operation because so far I can't say that I'm impressed.
  11. It's a lot less about the picks and a lot more about foregoing the opportunity to pursue a potential legit franchise QB prospect due to Darnold being here. And for the record for clarification, it's three picks.
  12. I LOVE Javante Williams but drafting a RB in the 2nd with this roster should be an immediately fireable offense.
  13. LOL! As horrific as the Panthers have been at handling the QB position the past couple of years, Denver has been at it at this pace for six years now.
  14. I would say that surely acquiring a Teddy Bridgewater level QB wouldn't make a team change their plans at QB, but damned if acquiring a Sam Darnold level QB didn't get us to change ours.
  15. I've been saying if we don't go QB in the 1st, we very well could look at a QB soon thereafter with the most likely canidates being Mills and Mond. Until you check that box you have to keep adding options. If it was my call, we'd already gave Fields in house but it's not. I'd prefer Mills over Mond.
  16. Seems relatively plausible. Fitterer has said 2nd round talent is deep and they've said there's only about 150 players on our board.
  17. I'd love to see us bolster the OL, but I really hope we don't draft Dickerson. Love the player, but damn he has injury red flags for days. I just think we have too many needs to take that kind of risk in round two.
  18. You could've saved yourself a lot of typing by simply saying, "I don't understand the concept of opportunity cost."
  19. Imagine being the statistically worst person in your field of work and still having someone decide you're worth $19M guaranteed next year. What a time to be alive.
  20. It's really not. Opportunity cost is real. We had the opportunity to draft a potential franchise QB and we passed because we had Sam Darnold. That's placing a big bet on Darnold.
  21. I hope it all works out for the best but we have basically mortgaged the immediate future of the franchise on the statistically worst QB in the NFL. I'll hope otherwise, but these situations usually play out predictably.
  22. Unfortunately, there's a lot more evidence to point to in Panthers' history than our most recent draft pick.
