He'll have virtually nothing until we're getting blown out and then he'll stat pad against prevent D to end up with 150ish. -
Well, nice start! INT!

They showed up in the first half against duke too. Then promptly collapsed in the second half. We'll see how it plays out today but I'm not gonna start celebrating just yet. I said at halftime against duke that we could still absolutely lose this game. I've seen the matador poo this D is capable fully capable of.

UVA defenders dropping like flies. They hit Hampton and just don't get up.

An injury has forced UNC to do what they should've been doing all along. Huzzie is our only decent DB. He's a little undersized and his NFL shot will come as a nickelback/returner but he's a good college CB. He should've been shadowing the opposing #1 WR all season. I'll take undersized and good over prototype size and sorry all day everyday. Yeah, he'll give up some plays simply not being big enough but he'll be there making life hard and to make the tackle at least versus not even being in the camera frame.

Omarion Hampton is absolutely punishing the UVA defense. He's putting a physical beating on them.

I mean, all offense and no defense is kinda what we both do. LOL

Perfect excuse for Bryce's upcoming sub-100 yard passing game.

Yep, for all the hate Remmers gets about that game it's not his fault. He was a good RT for us but he had a glaring weakness against elite speed rushers. Beasley exposed that in our lone regular season loss. Our staff didn't make adjustments for that leading up to SB50 and the Broncos had a plan for Shula always reverting to keeping in extra blockers to allow for his downfield routes when his OL was struggling instead of mixing things up and focusing on getting the ball or faster. That game was about the refs letting them tee off on Cam's head despite blows to the head of the QB being the officiating point of emphasis that year and about Wade Phillips just straight up taking Shula and Rivers to school.

I honestly think that had more to do with Tepper. He wanted his stamp on the organization and he knew that as long as Cam was here this was his team. Tepper wanted the Panthers to be HIS team. Well, he got what he wanted. This is his team.

We have to figure out our future core team
LinvilleGorge replied to RumHam's topic in Carolina Panthers
We have to find some players worthy of being part of the core first. I like our OL for the most part. We have some young guys who may become part of the core. Brown is a beast. But honestly, how many "core players" do we truly have? A small handful at most. We largely have NFL backups and borderline roster caliber types. -
Common denominator between Jets and Panthers
LinvilleGorge replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Browns and Jets are down there in the bottom of the barrel muck with us in terms of being awful franchises. -

Yeah, that's just inexcusable. I mean, the game is basically already over but still. You can't miss THAT. The defender has his head in his hands knowing the flag is coming and then it just doesn't come. LOL -

Two of the worst franchises in the league. Really just that simple. -

Dianna Russian: several teams interested in Bryce Young
LinvilleGorge replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It failed then. They basically looked like the same guy. Except one was the #1 overall pick and the other an afterthought of a UDFA. Ouch. -

That list might dwindle to zero when they get another fresh reminder this Sunday. -
Current NC State QB and former Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall hangs up his cleats after that scary hit. https://www.cbs17.com/sports/nc-state/nc-state-quarterback-grayson-mccall-announces-retirement-from-football/?utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=socialflow&utm_source=facebook.com&fbclid=IwY2xjawGHEPFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHZGgn0b1HX89JuqV7S8AwCKC-jz0bazKZ6h2jborsilRdu8e7uHrSRkOQQ_aem_NxOpmQ47Yq2FGgyHIhEVXQ I hope the young man recovers well and has success as a coach.

You've seen it with every single one of our coaches under Tepper. These guys age a year a week during the season.

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson

Oh, I'd much prefer to be in WNC. -
Bryce Young will start Sunday vs Broncos
LinvilleGorge replied to Samppson's topic in Carolina Panthers
We might have fewer first downs than they have touchdowns.
