  1. Yep, all reports were out of that joint practice was that KB was the best player on the field and #2 wasn't even close. The combo of the ACL and losing his mom was just too much. He probably didn't have the mental makeup to be great for a long time but I really thing he could've been a David Boston type where he was absolutely dominant for a few years.
  2. Typical of bigger WRs. KB was similar in that way. I think T-Mac is faster than KB but definitely doesn't have KB's physicality. He definitely has the better natural hands though KB was one of those odd guys who seemed like his hands got better the harder the catch was.
  3. All of this bullshit over a hypothetical pursuit of a LB on the 31st ranked defense in the league and a fundamental misunderstanding of PFF and link after link proving I was right. Awesome.
  4. #7-10 were all 78 ratings. T-Mac is right behind them at 77. No massive slight going on here.
  5. Did you really just type that and concluded with telling me to be a nicer person? You hypocrisy knows no bounds. You say that I make little comments about a person's intellect when you literally just made a post basically saying that you and NFL personnel were the only people smart enough to understand how to use tools like PFF.
  6. The bad is that I haven't seen many clips of him getting open. The good is that he's finding ways to make plays anyway.
  7. LOLOLOLOLOL I've very clearly laid out why I wouldn't do this. You haven't addressed any of it. All you've done is mid characterize arguments and make an ass of yourself, just like you did on the PFF thread.
  8. I'm just enjoying watching two Panthers fans absolutely crashing out over the hypothetical pursuit of a LB that the 31st ranked defense in the league that spent a 1st round pick on the guy and is uncertain whether or not they want him to be to be a part of their future or not. Good stuff.
  9. I'd love for you to go down to Panthers HQ and help them out with your expertise. That was a whole lot of typing to say "it matters when it supports my point and it doesn't matter when it doesn't support my point." It's always the same story with all the "tools". LOL
  10. The answer is that we don't know. I answered that for you pages ago. The question I have is why are you going to such great lengths to make a complete jackass of yourself?
  11. Shhhhh, don't let him know how ridiculous it is. It's funny to watch
  12. What "context" do you speak of? The context I'm speaking of is that outside of Theilen Coker was our most effective WR last year. Do you disagree with that? The secondary context I was speaking of is just like most PFF d riders, it magically only matters when it fits your preferred narrative. When it doesn't, then all of a sudden there's some other "context" or something or the other that needs to come into play. LOL
  13. If he wants to continue to play and is physically capable of continuing to play then I'm sure a deal will be reached. But I'm not gonna sit here and feign pity for someone who has earned a literal fortune. He'll make more this year than most wildly successful people will earn in a lifetime. Taylor Moton is gonna be just fine with or without the Panthers moving forward.
  14. Oh, look there! Jalen Coker was a top 5 rookie WR last year according to PFF. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-most-underrated-players-all-32-nfl-teams-2025 LOL
  15. In terms of the young receivers based on what they've actually shown on an NFL field? He is and it's really not debatable. I bet your beloved PFF would probably agree. LOL
  16. Don't get me wrong, I hope T-Mac proves to be a legit #1 and XL shows tremendous growth over the off-season but Coker is the one who has shown that he's a legit NFL caliber WR on the NFL field.
  17. I definitely think Coker is our most promising young WR based on his play on an NFL field.
  18. We don't even have a definite strength. We have a lot of unproven young potential that a lot of people are trying to project into a proven strength. These guys still have to go out there and prove it on the field but some folks are ready to ship off the one youngster who has actually shown the most. That's weird.
  19. A lot of times that fifth year option is just picked up to buy another year of having a guy secured and an extension is worked out before that fifth year gets here. It's just a way to help secure a young talent and buy you time. Most fifth year options are picked up and honestly, if you're not willing to pick up a 5th year option on that position then that position should probably be off your 1st round draft board.
  20. You can't really pay much attention to what is said in these regards. You don't get maximum value for a guy by telling the whole league you're ready to send him packing. Actions speak louder than words and you don't decline the fifth year option on "undoubtedly a key piece".
  21. I think they likely strongly value his presence both for Bryce and the young WRs which is completely understandable and I'm all for keeping him. I'm just saying that if Renfrow can largely replicate it for a lot less money then it frees us up to make a move.
  22. Honestly, I'd trade Thielen before I'd trade Coker. If Renfrow keeps showing out it honestly might become an enticing option if he's up for it. He'd probably just retire if we tried to ship him to Jacksonville but let's say somebody like KC for instance had interest? Not sure what their LB depth chart looks like but something like that could make a lot of sense. Thielen could go ring chasing with the best QB and offensive coach in the league and we could turn an aging WR into hopefully longer term roster building blocks.
  23. Training camp just started and it's already starting... https://www.facebook.com/reel/24277303321904901/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v LOL No one believes you and you have fan pages sharing this with a "Play him or trade him" headline. Oh wee mayne. This is why no front offices wanted any part of this.
  24. Honestly, it only makes sense if you're trying to chase being the best bad team you can be this year. The number one question we need answered this season is whether or not Bryce is our long-term franchise QB. Trading away a second year WR who was second on the team in catch percentage, first in yards per target, and who clearly outplayed your 1st round pick for a likely one year rental fill in LB is exactly the type of short sighted desperation moves that has made us the worst franchise in the league under Tepper. We gotta stop making these types of moves and just focus on building a good organization and a good roster. Lloyd is a JAG LB another bad team and awful defense is wavering on and a couple of Panthers fans are salivating over him. Oof. We just need to be patient and wait. Definitely make some calls around the league to teams deep at LB and see if there's an opportunity to add one for a late round pick. Definitely shop the waiver wire hard. The reality is that LB is almost certainly going to be a weakness for us this year. We weren't fixing our entire roster in one off-season and we're not fixing an overall weak positional group in late July. If you trade for Lloyd LB is still a weakness and you've given up a young promising WR who could potentially help you answer the question of whether or not Bryce is that guy. That's bad football business.
  25. Bingo. I have no idea why people are acting like we're expecting to compete for a Super Bowl this year and acting like we suddenly have this glut of proven production at WR. The opposite is true in both cases.
