  1. The amount of coddling we did for Bryce is just wild.
  2. If they are leaning toward extending Geno and they could improve on their 5th round investment I could see it. Then again, they actually look pretty decent. They may deem a viable backup QB more valuable than turning a 5th into say a 4th, even a 3rd.
  3. It's amazing that anyone pays any attention to him anymore. His whole shtick is acting like his opinions are stone cold fact and yet he's been wrong over and over again. Which to be fair, anyone who expressed opinions on draft prospects has been. It happens. But his whole shtick of acting like he's infallible and his opinions can only be failed by others not just be flat out erong is just supremely off-putting.
  4. He's a guy who lacks the physical tools and after his experience last year I think he knows it. I think he's basically just mailed it in at this point and is cashing checks for as long as he can. That's why I was honestly surprised about the rumor that he's pissed about the benching. I honestly expected him to be relieved by it.
  5. I'm anxious to hopefully get more fair look at our WR corps this Sunday. Tough to evaluate them when you're playing a QB who can't effectively throw past the LOS.
  6. Not surprised. We're a poo show. They know it. We know it. Everyone knows it. Bryce still ain't an NFL QB though.
  7. Well, that's funny. She says it's not LeBron but it just so happened to come right on the heels of that? That's convenient. Like I said, people who do this cryptic tweet "oh I know a thing but I can't tell you the thing" bullshit are usually judt that - bullshit.
  8. Well, that would explain why I haven't paid much attention to her tweets in the past. That type of tweeting just screams to me that someone is trying to act like they have sources and information that they probably don't actually have and they're just fronting.
  9. I hate cryptic tweets like that. Either spell it out or just STFU.
  10. No. If Bryce continues to suck it'll be because we ruined him. Under no circumstances were they just flat out wrong
  11. All those same analysts and talking heads completely ignored all the glaring red flags about Bryce leading up to the draft. Their egos won't allow them to admit that they were just flat out wildly wrong.
  12. I have a bunion on my right foot I'm going to have to have surgically treated because a dumbass doctor thought I had gout 8 years ago. I told her that I REALLY don't think it's gout because it would be a massive coincidence to develop a novel gout attack that precisely coincided with building a patio and lugging literally ton of material up and down steps for several days on end. I'm very sure this is some type of overuse injury I'm just trying to figure out exactly what and how I need to address it. She remained convinced it was actually gout so I just said fug it and limped around for several weeks until it finally got to the point I could pretty much function normally though it stayed painful for over a year. It's my own dumbass fault for not getting a second opinion from an actual podiatrist but it is what it is. At the very least I should've just gone and gotten myself a walking boot and worn it until the worst of the pain subsided. You have to advocate for yourself and your healthcare.
  13. Josh Rosen had prototypical size and physical talent. He was just a complete cocky asshole who thought this whole NFL QB thing was gonna be easy because he was just so damn good.
  14. Good. I hope he sours hard enough and becomes so toxic we're forced to trade him for whatever we can get or just outright release him.
  15. This. This is so different than a young QB going through some rough spots or being inconsistent while showing some flashes. Bryce has consistently been terrible and just flat out looks like he doesn't belong.
  16. The Panthers fan in me says The Sam Howell fan in me says
  17. When Tepper is ready to move on he usually turns the page pretty hard. It honestly wouldn't shock me to see Bryce traded for anything we can get.
  18. You'll never see outright proof but there's a mountain of anecdotal evidence.
  19. I hate to tell you, but I think Tepper is basically our GM when it comes to the key decisions
  20. Probably the most physically limited QB I can ever recall being drafted in the 1st and probably even 2nd or 3rd rounds if I'm being honest. Forget #1 overall, forget 1st round. I honestly can't recall another QB with every physical red flag a QB can possibly have getting drafted even moderately highly. He's basically Stetson Bennett with a weaker arm.
  21. Pretty much looked exactly like his INT from this Sunday. When he "throws with anticipation" this is usually the result. He's not reading the coverage correctly and he doesn't have the arm strength to squeeze the ball into tight spots to begin with. Combine the two and it's an abrupt change of possession.
  22. Bryce was a disaster who looked physically and mentally overwhelmed at the NFL level right out of the gate. It wasn't like he showed promise early on.
  23. Anyone with eyes could see that Bryce wasn't it and I honestly think the seeming commitment to Bryce from Tepper combined with a seasoned coach getting fired mid-season largely because of the ineffectiveness of Bryce severely limited our candidate pool. The job was likely viewed as a career suicide mission by most.
