This is fresh sliced and warmed up in the microwave wrapped in a wet paper towel.

There's a place called Wayne's Smokehouse in Louisville, CO that probably has the best I've had. He's from Austin and trained with some of the famous smokehouses in Austin before moving to CO like half the rest of Austin. I always liked Micklethwait's in Austin. I would have no desire to run an actual restaurant but I'd do a Texas style smokehouse.

If it's a picture I took, it's shitty.

Bingo. That has been sitting there sliced for 20+ minutes too. I ain't so concerned with taking pics that I forget to eat first.

Say you've never had a properly smoked brisket without saying it. Fork tender, moist as can be, and full of smoke. Properly smoked brisket It ain't your fault. It's really hard to find in a restaurant outside of central Texas. Never had it or seen it in NC.

If you are willing to go down there and sit on some temporary aluminum bleachers like you're watching a little league rec game in hotter than the crack of Satan's ass weather to watch this team practice... damn, hats off to you. You a real one. Spoiler alert though... probably better football being played at the local little league rec game.

Has anyone here ever met David Tepper in person?
LinvilleGorge replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
That just seems like a self owning to me. I'm selling the house. I don't care what you do with it. You bought it just to tear it down thinking that would piss me off? Okay. Joke's on you though. -
I'd rather watch a good team play in a shitty stadium than watch a Tepper Panthers era level team play in a state of the art stadium and it's not a tough choice.

I like that spot. Already bought tickets to go back to see Jamey Johnson in August and Ray LaMontagne in September.

Success!

Thanks for proving my point.

BOA is less than 30 years old. Our society really has to get over this urge to dispose of everything to get a new shiny object.

You want a thread with roughly one post per month that's not really even associated with the subforum it's in to be pinned to the top? Nah. I mean, just look at the level of activity in this subforum. As long as there's a new post once every six months or so it's gonna stay on the first page. Not like you're gonna have to go searching deep.

Who needs a million dollars? Apparently, nobody

I definitely didn't until my wife's grandmother had to go into assisted living. Unless you're legit RICH whatever money you have saved up is gonna be gone in the blink of an eye. -

How in the world did insurance companies get the power to determine that they get the ability to approve or reject treatment plans? Literally the foxes guarding the henhouse. -

Imagine being in a city without an NFL team and really wanting an NFL team and learning that an owner is looking at your city as a relocation candidate for his franchise just to learn that it's David Tepper and this franchise.- 176 replies

Never been. Going to a concert there Thursday night. Decent tailgating opportunities in the parking area or no? I see people are going to the beer hall to grab a beer to get their parking validated. Seems like a good plan to me. I'd like to smoke a brisket and do a decent spread of food but I just don't know if the parking setup allows for it.

Don't be trying to fight when you're playing Virginia Tech as long as this kid is there. https://www.instagram.com/p/C8IRzpOO2FW/

I'd argue yes if you think it was giving you a better shot to realistically land a highly sought after free agent that you really want. In the grand scheme of things, a 5th rounder is basically nothing. Mathematically speaking, you have about a 7% chance of landing a starter in the 5th round.
-
You have to think about it in terms of trade value. What can you reasonably expect to get on the trade market for a 5th round pick? Certainly not a guy who is going to be a highly sought after free agent.
