It just seems like everyone Tepper hires is basically just a fall guy. If Bryce was out there killing it there's a 100% chance that Tepper would be all smiles, showing up at tailgates, and giving plenty of media interviews where he would be proudly talking credit for being personally involved in the selection of Bryce. But since Bryce looks terrible and the QB a lot of fans wanted is absolutely lighting it up he fades quietly into the background to sulk.

Next year's class always looks better because people haven't started picking those guys apart as NFL prospects yet. There's a rookie QB rewriting rookie record books right now. We didn't make a terrible move going all in on a QB. We just picked the wrong QB.
-
Fitts said they strongly considered drafting Howell even after drafting Corral. Then again, Fitts also said he'd love to have Corral back after releasing him and Corral has spent the entire season on the couch, so yeah...
-
Should we consider trading Bryce? Honestly, yeah. Will we? There's a better chance that Tepper sells the team and donated the proceeds to charity.

I said he looks like a potential top 10 pick yesterday. I don't think he will be. I expect him to probably go somewhere in the mid-late firsts. There are questions whether or not he can carry an offense, even at the college level. Michigan is very much a run first offense. More like a '90s style throwback NFL offense.

It blows my mind how many Heels fans blame the Heels' woes on Maye. It's almost like they don't understand that the QB doesn't play D or block or catch passes. They did this same poo Howell's final season. Drake Maye accounted for all but 24 of our yards tonight, both his INTs bounced off of receivers, and the D gave up 500+ yarda and 39 points before NCSU packed it in and went conservative. But Drake Maye ain't poo. Maybe we get exactly what we deserve.
-
Same way Panthers fans do. We're just used to it. Hell, at least the Heels actually play for half of the season.
-
He can't run out there and catch 'em too. That needs to be Drake's last play for UNC. He's done more than enough for this program. He'll play in the bowl but he absolutely shouldn't.
-
Maye with another INT off another ball that should've been caught. One off Tez's chest, one off Nesbitt's hands.
-
I've said he needs to be forced to retire but this is inexcusable. He shouldn't be given the dignity. Fire his ass for this.
-
Drake is gonna be a top 5 pick. He ain't staying, period. Nor should he.
-
Everyone that plays UNC in the second half of seasons owns UNC.
-
I'm firing Mack Brown TONIGHT if he let's Drake Maye back in this game.
-
Tez Walker is gonna hope that scouts don't watch this game.
-
And now he gets an INT off a ball that bounces right off Tez Walker's chest.
-
I've always thought Peyton Wilson was a helluva player and I don't get why he isn't thought of by the NFL. He has great size, great speed, smart player. What's not to like?
-
Yeah, he's ready. Playing for bad, poorly coached teams isn't going to make him more ready.
-
Damn. I think JJ Jones just dislocated his shoulder. That sucks.
-
Yep. It's best for him and for us honestly. Without elite QB talent I can't see a Mack team winning more than 3 or 4 games. Maybe a backup QB looking mediocre would be enough to convince Mack to retire.
-
That's the frustrating thing. They were actually decent early on and then they just completely fell apart. They went from being our best defense in recent years to actually somehow being our worst.
-
It's what I'd be telling him to do. This team has quit. You have an NFL career to protect. Don't risk injury playing in some poo tier bowl in front of 5000 people.
-
Maye needs to sit out the bowl and just get ready for the draft. He probably won't but he should.
-
I'm kinda having a change of heart. I'm not sure I'd give Mack Brown the dignity of retiring. I might fire his ass.
-
FSU is gonna survive.

Now UF lines up offsides. They're beating themselves.
