  1. And yet he's still on pace for 4500 yards and 30 TDs. They definitely need to upgrade their offensive weapons though, ESPECIALLY if Kelce retires. Take Kelce off that roster and their offensive skill position talent is as bad as ours, maybe worse.
  2. The Bills have won three straight but they looked terrible in their last game. They really run hot or cold, primarily because Josh Allen really runs hot or cold. Him and Hurts are probably the most hot/cold of all the elite QBs. They either look like All Pros or they looks like they need to be benched and not much in between, you get one or the other.
  3. The early games don't look like much but tonight's game should be a banger.
  4. Pats win on a last second 56 yard FG after the Broncos came back from 23-7 2nd half deficit. How pissed is Robert Kraft right now? You've probably already decided to move on from Belichick at the end of the year and had visions of a shiny new highly drafted QB dancing in your head. That win tonight doesn't help.
  5. I'd be thrilled to be wrong. I'm always thrilled to be wrong when it works out for the best for the Panthers. I didn't want Luke in the draft. I didn't want Beason in the draft. Bryce working out is obviously much better for the Panthers than him busting.
  6. The Pats kicker missed a 47 yarder so bad he missed the whole net. A fan gets a Christmas ball.
  7. Cowboys have lost two straight, Eagles have lost three straight. Might be a battle of attrition to see who hangs on in that division. Both might be backing into the playoffs.
  8. That was one of the most baffling roughing the passer calls I've ever seen.
  9. Dinged his shoulder. They're getting thrashed. Getting him out of there is the smart move.
  10. I've been on the tag and trade camp for awhile. I honestly think our 3-4 transition was primarily about trying to help Burns go from good to elite and he's still who he is. You can't pay this guy $30M a year or anything close to it. Not in a hard salary cap league. $30M/year defenders have to be the elite of the elite.
  11. Yeah, Howell's boxscore looked atrocious.
  12. Wish I could've watched. Just had to much stuff to do. The boxscore looks good. I'm glad he played well. I'd love it if I'm wrong and he becomes a legit franchise QB. Some of y'all are just some absolutely miserable saps. The guy plays well and y'all still gotta be mad as hell about something. It's Christmas Eve and Bryce played well. It's okay to let some joy into your life.
  13. Let's see... joined on December 17th claiming to be a long time lurker... proceeds to do nothing but do nothing but complain about other posters, the mods, and anyone who isn't over the top in defending all things Bryce Young picking fights the entire time while throwing shade at the Carolinas while being a Panthers fan... wait this is feeling familiar. Did anyone get banned right around that time? Bye again @AceBoogie
  14. Literally just posted. Am I really living in your head rent free THAT much?
  15. Hate I missed this one. Bryce's boxscores looks solid. Hope he played as well as it looks. I just had a LOT of poo to get done around the house today to get ready for tonight and tomorrow. No football for me today.
  16. So all talents are equal across the NFL? If this was the case there'd be no difference between having a guy like Mahomes and having a guy like Bryce. Having an OT like Trent Williams or having Byron Bell. Having a RB like CMC or having Chuba. Having a WR like Tyreek Hill and having TMJ. Good players elevate the play of their teammates, period. That's how team sports work.
  17. Bryce is gonna be here next year. It just is what it is. I want to see a legit QB competition in TC and preseason though. You can't just hand Bryce the job again next year.
  18. It wasn't even a sweepstakes. The NFL was gonna force JR to sell to David Tepper, period. He was next man up for the good old boy's club. Sucks they didn't force Snyder out quicker. Lord knows there was WAY more dirt on Snyder than there was on JR and they didn't move on him until they found out he was withholding a few bucks from the pot.
  19. Talent still shows. That's the part y'all don't want to acknowledge. Even in a complete poo show you can recognize talent. Where's the flashes of talent? Not stats, not wins, just those plays that make you say, "Yeah, this guy shows something. I can see him being that dude in the right situation." In 13 starts how many plays has he honestly made that you wouldn't expect pretty much any roster caliber NFL QB to be able to make? That's my concern. I'm not seeing flashes of the talent that can lift a team. Bryce looks like the type of guy who is never going to add digits to the win column. He'll get you as far as the team around him can carry him. Other teams call those types of guys replacement level backups.
  20. I honestly don't. I'd feel differently if I was seeing signs of NFL talent but when everyone who takes the field at QB in the NFL whether it's UDFAs, backups, or 3rd stringers look like they have a higher level of raw talent than our #1 overall pick that pill is bitter as fug. Rookie mistakes I can deal with. They happen. But you want to see flashes of that high level talent. You can't develop that.
  21. Hindsight being 20/20 and all that if we keep CMC, include Burns instead of Moore in the trade to Chicago for #1, then draft Stroud at #1 everything is so much different.
  22. I generally keep it simple. Brisket, pork butt, whole turkeys and chickens. I would like to get a hold of a good chunk of bear though. That fatty meat should smoke up real nice.
  23. The Chargers had a shot there. I don't know why that dude didn't go for it. They reversed the field with the lateral, had a wall setup, and they guy just didn't go for it. That's a failure on the player. If you go for it and don't make it, it is what it is but that's the best shot you're gonna get in that situation.
