  1. Along with whoever made the decision to trade up for Bryce Young. If it was Tepper then he really needs to swallow his ego and GTFO of all football decisions.
  2. Over the top obnoxious assholery I get it. Complain about it. Make them tone it down or get tossed. But if you want to protect your precious children from hearing a naughty word, then a football game isn't the place to be taking them.
  3. It was a nice throw. I'm not anti-Bryce. I want to see more nice throws. I'd be happy as hell to be wrong about my doubts.
  4. Watch his body language on the field and on the sidelines. Watch his post game presser.
  5. Hey, I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong and giving credit where it's due.
  6. What do you see? I mean, the guy looks and sounds completely dejected and lacking in confidence.
  7. I can only guess but it really looks to me like he's questioning his physical ability to play the game at this level. You see other young QBs struggle but they keep their confidence. They make enough plays and throw enough tough passes to give themselves the confidence that yeah, with more work and more experience I have what it takes to do this. I just don't think Bryce is having enough of those moments. His audibles aren't working. He's really struggling throwing beyond 10 yards downfield. When he tries to scramble and buy time like he did. In college he's getting chased down more often than not. I really think it's for him rattled and second guessing everything.
  8. The kid looks broken already. His play doesn't exude confidence and that post game presser was just sad. Somebody run up there and give this kid a hug.
  9. Tight windows get tougher. Especially when you struggle to generate velocity on the football. I really think the two early INTs and a couple more dropped INTs really rattled Bryce's confidence. He's really having to reevaluate what throws he can make at this level. This happens with every young QB in the NFL. I just don't know that I've seen one look this gunshy so quickly.
  10. I'm just talking about the overall game. Deion honestly feels like more of a distraction than anything else.
  11. The whole offense is designed to get the ball to a speedster as fast as possible. Their offensive speed is absurd.
  12. If literally everything else goes perfect. Maybe. That's what we're left to cling to already.
  13. All we have to do is surround Bryce with the best offensive supporting cast in football? That's not a guy you make a massive trade up to get. Because when you make that trade you greatly reduce your ability to create that situation.
  14. Yeah. I mean, you can find a highlight reel of Jimmy Clausen where he makes some nice throws. I'm not joking.
  15. That's the one play this year that made me say, "Okay, that's what I expected to see out of Bryce Young."
  16. I mean, I think it's a good play. Don't get me wrong. But is it the type of play I get excited about? Definitely not. It's a play I expect an NFL QB to make. There's nothing about this play that makes me say, "Wow. Now I see why we felt like we had to go all in to get this guy!"
  17. That's where I'm at. Caught, not caught. It's pretty much irrelevant since it was flagged. The end result is the same minus a 10 yard completion in the box score.
  18. No, I think it was a good pass. It was flagged so the end result is the same as a completion minus it showing up on the stat sheet.
  19. From the other view from the front side the ball is not deflected. It was a nice throw from Bryce.
  20. That angle is much better. From the back it legit looked like the defender deflected it.
  21. How could anyone not see this on the video? Ball hit him in the neck...
  22. Yep. That's the one. I had forgotten it was flagged. The defender slowing the receiver down means the ball was actually thrown significantly behind not slightly behind.
  23. So after three starts the shining moment we're hanging our hat on is a ball thrown slightly not far enough out in front allowing the trailing defender to make a play? I mean, damn. That pretty much says everything. It wasn't a bad throw and was much more just a good defensive play but if that ball is two feet further out from the defender leading Chark it's probably a TD. Y'all had almost convinced me Chark had dropped that ball. That's a PBU. If Chark had caught it? Hell, I'm honestly not sure the ball ever even touched his hands. Do you honestly not see the defender's hand deflecting that pass?
  24. Watch Bryce throw the football. Watch other QBs throw the football. The one deep shot Bryce has took this year came up horribly short despite the receiver being grabbed and slowed down. For Bryce to complete passes more than 10 yards beyond the LOS the guy has to be wide open. If he's not Bryce just hasn't shown the ability to generate the velocity needed to deliver the ball. Sorry. Honestly, Bryce throws about like Cam after the shoulder injuries.
