Dude had 13 pass attempts all game prior to this last possession. Keep in mind, he has 2100+ yards and ,19 TDs vs. only 3 INTs this year with a 70%+ completion percentage.
He's really not. He definitely has the physical tools but he is mentally NOT a QB.
It's really a failure of this staff. They have a QB who is fast as fug and they have no read option game? Very few designed QB runs? It's baffling.
This KU QB has all the physical talent in the world he's just not mentally a QB. He could be a real problem in a Taysom Hill type role of they had a real QB.
Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see Payton sign him as a UDFA.
KU doesn't use his legs nearly enough.
But that was the baseline when Mack was hired. Without him we very easily could still be floundered around. He was hired to revitalize the program. That's what he's done. What part of that are you failing to comprehend?
