I'm not driving the Johnson train by any means. Honestly, Steichen would be my preference. The one thing I know for damn sure is I do not want Sean Payton. I'll never root for a team coached by the guy who oversaw Bountygate. That's just a red line for me. -

I don't want Wilks but hiring Sean Payton is a redline for me. -

My precise reaction toward any and all Panthers fans who are excited about the potential of hiring Sean Payton. -
1/17 Athletic/Brugler Mock: Panthers Trade Up

Yep. Justin Fields has definitely shown promise but if there was an Andrew Luck or a Trevor Lawrence type prospect in this draft the Bears would be taking him and trading Fields. -

If he was a "sure thing" then he'd be going #1 overall and there wouldn't be any discussion. -

Playing it safe on relatively cheap investments at QB is working so well. -

HC: Steichen or Johnson. I lean toward Steichen because... QB/#9: Anthony Richardson. He has the most physical talent and upside in the draft. Pair him with a HC who has already turned a raw physical talent into an MVP caliber QB. Re-sign Darnold to good backup money as a bridge/mentor.

This. Bountygate aside, if you're hiring Payton I'd want to be pairing him with a legit, established QB. Of the current openings, Denver makes the most sense by miles. You already have your entire franchise mortgaged into Russell Wilson.

I don't know. Irsay could be looking at Maye or Williams in the upcoming draft and see his next Manning or Luck.

She might have more plastic in her face than he does and I think he's probably legally considered a mannequin at this point.

Bucs recover the onside kick. If they can score here this final score is going to end up looking way more competitive than this game ever was.
-
That would be a shocker.

You always hate to see someone get hurt like this but you really hate to see someone get hurt like this in a game that's already decided
-
Well, this doesn't look good.

Brady is old and washed up. Mike Evans simply running past our trash reserve CBs made everyone forget that for a few minutes but it's back top of mind again now.

If Wilks had made adjustments in the Bucs game
LinvilleGorge replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably not because we're probably getting skull drug 31-6 in the 4th quarter of a wildcard game in BOA just like the Bucs are right now. -
I'm just bummed Brady and the Bucs didn't get shutout. That would've been amazing.

He hit an XP!

Dude out there slide tackling people.

This game truly highlights how atrocious this division was this year. This is what the NFC South "champion" deserves to look I their wholly undeserved playoff appearance. The Lions or Seahawks were more deserving but they didn't play on trash divisions.

This is an absolute comedy of errors. The Bucs out here looking like TCU against Georgia.

I don't think the Niners will blow them out but I think they beat them probably 80% of the time.
