I don't think I've seen this many lucky breaks in a half ever.

So the Titans giving up on Malik Willis already?
LinvilleGorge replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not rooting against him. I've always said if he develops into something, great! But in terms of shaping the roster you absolutely can't count on that. -
Now that was a nice pass from Darnold that actually came on his second read. First time today we've thrown past the LOS to a guy who wasn't the first read.
-
Again.
-
Seriously, every time Shenault goes in motion late it's a swing pass to Shenault.
-
Well, evidently not.
-
We've caught an entire game's worth of lucky breaks on barely over a quarter.

It would've been easier to simply type "nothing". -
Um... what?

Don't understand three man rushing Brady on 3rd and manageable. He's gonna find someone with time. Not like it was 3rd and 20

They're gonna make Darnold beat us throwing past the LOS. They're keying in on shutting down the run and the short passing game. McAdoo may have played every trick up his sleeve on that first drive.

So what was it that you saw? Because I saw a guy who looked like he didn't belong on an NFL field from a physical traits perspective. What plays did I miss? Where did he show those flashes? -
Has Shenault ever gone in motion and the play not ultimately be a swing pass to him? How are teams not keying in on that? Because it keeps working.

Fighting for extra yardage can be a blessing or a curse. It was a curse for the Bucs there.

I mean, it was cold as hell. Of course the field was rock hard. Our field is trash. That's well established. Way too many players - our own and others - have complained about it for it not to be true. But a field being hard on sustained subfreezing temps isn't a legit complaint. That's just the nature of reality.

Darnold looks like an absolute stud when he never had to come off his first read. I'll be honestly, that was some good poo from McAdoo.

Like he belonged from a physical traits standpoint. What did you see that you found to hang your hat on? What did he show that made you thing, "Yeah, that's something to work with." -
I was a doubter until last night. Just like how Justin Fields changed my mind with his dismantling of Clemson.

They showed some strong flashes along the way though. They didn't go out there and just flat out look like they don't belong from a physical traits perspective. I hate to say it, but Corral looked like a small school UDFA doesn't have a prayer to make the roster type guy out there. -
No roster is ever perfect. You're always going to have needs and spots you'd like to upgrade.

This is pretty much the way I see it. At least it's trying. When you're rummaging around in the NFL's garbage bin trying to find a QB Like we have so far in the Tepper era, we've predictably found what you're mostly likely to find - garbage.

C.J. Stroud, c'mon down

It's not the age in terms of career length that concerns me. It's the ave in terms of development. Levis is basically going to be drafted on athletic potential as a raw lump of clay. He shouldn't be so raw at 24. Guys like Hooker, Pickett, etc. absolutely lit it up at a similar age because they were literal men among boys. That's not Levis.

Im not opposed to it, but you gotta be certain. He's gotta blow you away in the interviews and whiteboard work. That's the crucial part of the equation that us fans get virtually no insight into.
