  1. Pats could go about anywhere here. I would expect WR, TE, or RB given the players available but with a defensive head coach they might be going pass rusher.
  2. I'm not looking for any trade ups until we get at least into the late 40s. That's when we start getting into reasonable range to package #57 with #111 or #114.
  3. All that talk about TeyVeyon Henderson potentially going over Omarion Hampton and he's not even the 1st OSU RB drafted.
  4. So 52 + a 3rd = 35 and there were folks thinking we were gonna get 34 for 57 and a 4th. LOL
  5. Too late for them to do damage control now. Deion was trying to backpedal in recent weeks too when he started trying to talk back his mess about controlling where Shedeur does or doesn't go. When you're a marginal NFL physical talent don't compound it with a bunch of wild ego BS. Now instead of bragging about being a top 5 pick and calling their own shots they're wondering when the slide will end.
  6. JT is more athletic but Sawyer has that dog in him. I don't know if Sawyer will be a starter but I think he's going to have a long NFL career injuries aside.
  7. When a guy with the SC safety's measurables doesn't go in the 1st it really makes me wonder why. I mean, on paper he's Sean Taylor 2.0. So why's he still available?
  8. Ideally after he had a disappointing rookie season and the Falcons trade him to us for peanuts. LOL
  9. I don't mind the pick. No, it's not the pick I would've made but I stated in plenty of threads pre-draft that taking T-Mac wouldn't upset me. Bryce finally looked like a guy down the stretch last year who might be a legit starting QB so I get trying to get that blue chip WR to keep that ball rolling. We had a stud in Cam and we failed to put the pieces around him. I'm not mad that we're trying really hard to prevent making that mistake again.
  10. Not sure. But any chart that has you going from 57 to 34 with an extra 4th, just throw that one out. That ain't gonna happen. LOL
  11. I want us to just sit tight until it gets into range of 57+111. If the right guy is there at that point and there's a dance partner then go for it. But that's as aggressive as I hope that we get.
  12. 57 + 111 gets you into the 49/50 range. You're not getting close to 34 with 57 and a 4th
  13. Some of y'all seemingly hate to see other people happy. It's weird.
  14. That's how most sacks happen. You don't see many sacks at all when the QB is getting the ball put in three seconds. It usually takes the combo of a good pass rush, decent coverage, and the QB trying to hang in there.
  15. I'm not ready to give up on XL yet either. I'm hoping that lingering wrist injury was really impacting his hands.
  16. Not a bad plan. Of the elite QBs, Bryce probably most closely fits the Brees mold.
  17. Mukuba and Watts are by far the two best fits for us in terms of the type of safety we need paired with Moehrig.
  18. We may have thought that Walker was going to be the juicier trade bait? Once Jeanty went in front of us I think our trade down scenarios plummeted. That was the one blue chipper that we clearly weren't going to draft.
  19. Proud of the Panthers. I preferred Walker but I'm not at all mad about T-Mac. I'm just proud because this is the first time in years where we haven't blatantly telegraphed our 1st round intentions.
  20. Double dipping at WR after reading up to draft XL in the 1st last year would feel like screaming that we think he's a bust.
  21. I'm willing to part with one of our 4ths to move up a few spots for the right guy but that's as aggressive as I hope we'll consider being.
