With the talk of Christensen potentially playing LT I think we're getting ourselves up to draft Tiny Hands at #6. I hope not. It's be mistake but am easier to swallow mistake if we also fix the OL. Just don't tie the next coach to him.
-
Now this is fuging nice. Legit OC and OG signed.

I'll start having positive vibes about Tepper's Panthers when I see reason for it. Meanwhile, we're in officially the worst stretch of Panthers football in team history.
-
Damn. Deshaun Watson pulled off what essentially amounted to free agency via a no trade clause. Would not be shocked to see owners try to ban NTCs in the next CBA.
-
Watson to damn near the entire NFC South
-
I didn't want Watson.
-
Well, now that we've officially swung and swung and swung again at Deshaun Watson just to embarrassingly miss, back to your previously scheduled program of spending all of our resources on defense in an increasingly offensive driven league.

That division is shaping up to be an absolute monster on paper. My goodness.

Carolina quietly cleared more cap with RA

Probably not this year, but definitely next year. Probably still will. The new staff will just have to eat the hit that shouldn't have existed. -

I'm glad to see that even after moving on from Hurney we're still kicking the can down the road on players who should simply be cut. -
Three top 10 QB's refused to play for Matt Rhule.

The Watson one stings the most. The Rams were a team that were a legit QB away from being contenders and they proved it. The Broncos are in the toughest division in football but they also look to have a roster ready to compete with a legit QB. The Saints and Falcons though? Hell, they're not in any better shape in terms of roster than we are. Watson simply looked at those organizations and felt more confident in them being able to build a team around him. Ouch. -
The only viable option I can see is claiming the asking price got too high. No one should buy it but that's the only plausible spin I can think of here.

OFFICIAL WE HATE TEPPER THREAD
LinvilleGorge replied to Lets go get it Canes's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's probably what he'll do but I hope this is a big wake up call and he takes a long look in the mirror and realizes that he's been an abysmal failure as an owner thus far. Just pickup the phone and call Kevin Colbert after he officially retires from the Steelers following the draft and offer him a blank check to come here and oversee the building of the type of football organization Tepper planned to and surely honestly thought he was building with Rhule and company. Then just GTFO of his way and let him do it. -
It's hilariously depressing that Tepper can't see it. He's built an organization that no one with other viable options wants to be a part of. The only guys we're going to get are afterthoughts or ones we're willing to significantly overpay.

I think he likely has known where he's going for awhile now. He's just enjoying being the center of attention.
-
We'd probably win about 6 games with Jimmy G unless he can bring the rest of the Niners' roster and staff with him. He's a bad QB in a great organization. Take him and bring him here... 6 wins.
-
My opinion is that Tepper is ass. I point to a historically mediocre franchise being in the midst of their worst stretch of success in team history since he bought the team for my reasoning.
-
It's really not. He needs to accept he's out of his element, get some help to build a real football organization, then get out of their way.
-
It's hilarious that Tepper has been trying his ass off for over a year and two division rivals come in late and immediately surpass all of his efforts. What a reality check.

If Boone and Asheville bother you, try spots like Boulder, CO and Berkeley, CA. Wealthy trustafarians are a whole different level of annoying compared to mere rich trustafarians.
