  1. Well, the flip side is even more horrifying. If it's not about money it's because Tepper is a true believer in Matt Rhule.
  2. I'm gonna watch the Cardinals and Cowboys. Sorry, not sorry.
  3. When it became clear that the NFL owners were forcing the sell to Tepper, I had concerns. Do you really think they'd be forcing the sell to someone they thought would build a powerhouse lessening their ability to compete for Super Bowls?
  4. Only quoting to expose obvious trolling so folks know not to take seriously.
  5. Simply being a bad coach and unqualified for the job you gave him isn't enough. Trying to pull that off would damage your ability to hire the next HC.
  6. For a proven NFL coach and a roster that was a QB away. That ain't our situation. Not even close.
  7. I figured Tepper's biggest fanboy would be getting to the point of being nearly as embarrassed about Tepper as Tepper is about Rhule.
  8. Three year clause? Or what? Tepper has to pay out the contract? Oh well, that's his problem. That amount of money is basically a rounding error for Tepper. Pony up if you care about winning.
  9. I've been saying for weeks now that we need this to get as ugly and as embarrassing as possible to force Tepper's hand. That's essentially what Rapport is saying will have to happen. Fuging sad.
  10. When Rhule struggles to get any decent OC candidate to so much as pick up the phone, maybe that'll be Tepper's wake up call? Yeah, I'm reaching.
  11. Rhule commits to Darnold as the starting QB next year after he throws 3 TDs... to the Saints.
  12. You think AARON RODGERS is going to willingly come here to play for Matt Rhule???
  13. Evidently what we've been seeing lately ISN'T an epic meltdown. Tepper has ran this bitch completely into the ground.
  14. It's really pretty simple for me. If we fire Rhule and hire an offensive minded head coach, I want Howell. If we're keeping Rhule, I want Howell to go somewhere else for his sake.
  15. I can't see a smart franchise making that trade until there's a LOT more clarity to his "situation".
  16. I think his options may prove to be extremely limited until his significant off field troubles are cleared up. It seemed like it was basically just us and Miami left and Miami very well may be out now given their turnaround. It could be Carolina or nothing. Would Tepper really be willing to push ALL of his chips on the table to go all in on Watson/Rhule? Because, damn... if you swing a massive trade for Watson and it doesn't end well this franchise would be truly gutted at that point.
  17. One thing that may change his calculus is Tua's improvement and Miami's dramatic turnaround. I don't know if Tua will ultimately be their long-term answer, but I could definitely see them cooling significantly on feeling the need to swing a massive trade for Watson given the second half of their season.
  18. I just can't see Watson waiving his no trade clause to come here. If he wasn't willing to do it before Rhule proved to be an unmitigated disaster, I don't see why he's be willing to do it after.
  19. Rhule vs. Gettleman with the NY media presiding. Now THAT would've been a great train wreck.
  20. Losing is one thing. Getting your ass whipped while looking hapless and your coaching staff being clueless as to how to change the course of the current events is an entirely different thing.
  21. In our current state, we're a terrible fit for anyone aspiring to have a successful NFL career. If these clowns are retained I honestly just feel sorry for the kids we draft.
  22. Find a local rescue group that you like and trust. Talk to them. I bet they'd have no issue having you will your dogs to them in the event of your passing giving you peace of mind that your four legged companions will be well taken care of if that were to happen.
  23. I'm worried that we've reached utter desperation stage. All thoughts of a rebuild "process" are going out the window and we're in a downward spiral of constant knee jerk quick fix solutions. Basically, we're the late stage Al Davis Raiders. Except we're not willing to fire a worthless ass coach.
  24. The Panthers have always been a mediocre franchise with occasional flashes of greatness. Until Tepper. Tepper's best success came before he was able to put his "stamp" on the organization. Ever since he has, we've been a doormat and laughing stock.
