    Yep. We're razor thin at LB. Even with his injury struggles, I doubt we would've been willing to trade him for practically nothing if it wasn't for the added complication of him being unvaccinated.

    Who's complaining? My concern is that DJ might not be in our long-term plans.

    In a world where we're deep at WR and nearly devoid of starting caliber OL. There's only so much cap space to go around and Tepper has been talking like we may need to swing a trade for a LT. All I'm saying is that this move on the heels of drafting two WRs makes me uncertain that a DJ extension is in the plans.

    This is why I found Robby's extension a bit baffling and why it leaves me a bit concerned about our plans for DJ.

    No one will be happier than me. The stans will just move on to their next chosen one. They didn't skip a beat between Teddy and Sam. Same energy.

    It's weird. It's like if you don't engage in Olympics level mental gymanstics to convince yourself that Darnold is a HOF talent just held back by the Jets then you're nothing but a hater. I don't THINK that Darnold will ultimately work out. But I HOPE that he does because that's what is best for the Panthers.

    The Darnold stans get triggered by my substantial doubt, but trust and believe I'll be THRILLED if I turn out to be dead wrong and Darnold is an absolute stud.

    I don't know if he's being coddled or not. I simply said Rhule said that Darnold was "basically a rookie" and he's clearly not being treated as such.

    Being financially set for life several times over should take a lot of the edge off of that pressure.
