  1. I would be for kicking the tires on Muse. He tested damn well athletically.
  2. They also deserve the full scorn of the fanbase and the pink slip when they choose poorly.
  3. The "coaches are always right" crew always ignores the many times over the years that sadly the prevalent Huddle opinions turned out to be more accurate than the roster/depth chart moves.
  4. We've warned repeatedly about COVID misinformation. Who else wants to see themselves out?
  5. That it sucks but at least they took some action to reduce the odds of that happening. If you not willing to get a shot to benefit the team and you're not a superstar, you should just GTFO. If you're a superstar you should get hazed constantly.
  6. It would be ridiculously stupid to rely on a player who has put himself in position to be in and out of COVID protocols all season long.
  7. Minny tried Elflein both spots. He sucked at both but I seem to recall him sucking less at OG. Still trying to figure out why we gave a veteran minimum type player a three year contract for real money.
  8. I guess you haven't been paying much attention lately. Rip roaring start for your new account. LOL!
  9. You still have one good lung. Get out there and save my jo... I mean the team needs you Cam!
  10. There's two boats right now and one group is too dumb to even figure out they're in a boat.
  11. We're just hellbent to make Ron era OL depth chart decisions. It's not confidence inspiring.
  12. Ron would've played Cam through that.
  13. Yep. Holiday weekend. Opening week of college football. Packed stadiums and large cookouts held across the country. What could possibly go wrong?
  14. If he's unvaxxed just cut him and be done with it. Deonte Brown time.
  15. I don't see Brees. I think the Baker Mayfield comparisons are pretty apt. I chuckle that some people consider that an insult. I think Howell is more level headed though and throws a more accurate deep ball. Deep ball accuracy is Howell's #1 attribute.
  16. Ah, the "we'll get 'em next year mantra" that has worked out oh so well for the Panthers since '93.
  17. You damn straight I would. If they go the mediocre vet route again, I'd be done until Rhule and company were gone... which probably wouldn't be long.
  18. I honestly don't care about morale. That's a staff problem. If we end up with the #1 overall pick, morale should be low and there should be significant concern that we don't have the right pieces in place on the staff.
  19. The most disappointing thing to me is if we trot out subpar vets and leave guys like Brady Christensen and Deonte Brown riding the pine. If we want to roll with the vets at first, fine. But they should be on a really short leash because the youngsters have just plain looked better.
  20. The only resemblance between the two is the college jersey they wore. It's like comparing Baker Mayfield and Sam Bradford.
  21. If it went down like this then the Darnold experiment failed spectacularly. I could see us Howell'ing at #1 and howling at #33 as the Jets are on the clock with some tempting OL prospects still on the board.
  22. I can't see us being had enough to land the #1 overall pick but if we're not playoffs bound (insert Jim Mora gif here) this would be the best outcome for the long-term interests of the franchise.
  23. I know Slye sucks. Santoso may too, but I'll take the unknown over known trash.
  24. That's the thing with Jameis. You could be facing an MVP caliber QB or you could be facing a Dwayne Haskins level QB. You just never know which version of Jameis is gonna show up.
  25. Every team is better than expected if they can magically fix two of their biggest weaknesses. I think this writer is overlooking how sorry our interior OL has looked though. We aren't just a LT away from a good OL.
